Over-the-counter and prescription options should be used judiciously to avoid feeling groggy or sleepy the next day. Melatonin is a reasonable starting point, while sedating antidepressants could be considered as well. 18:31 Extended sleep can safely enhance athlete performance. 22:23 Computerized testing in athletes mirrors sleep clinic. 25:01 Using electronic devices before bed can affect sleep, altering the internal clock and suppressing the release of melatonin. The type of content consumed before bed can also impact sleep, potentially causing anxiety or other negative emotions. 26:52 Devices are helpful in reminding patients to prioritize sleep by providing a gauge of their sleep patterns. While not as detailed as medical sleep studies, they are relatively accurate in assessing whether a person is getting enough sleep. However, their accuracy may be limited when it comes to determining the quality of sleep. We are back to finish out Brain Injury Awareness Month looking at another component of the SCAT6. We certainly love acronyms in sports medicine, don’t we? Let’s take the deep dive. Connect with The Host! Subscribe to This Podcast Now! The ultimate success for every podcaster – is FEEDBACK! • Hang ‘Em High (1968) – A Perspective Review
    Mar 18 2024
In 1968, an already 38-year-old Clint Eastwood was made a producer of a movie that was going to be the "bridge" back to the states when it came to the Spaghetti Westerns and Hollywood's at-all interest in the modern Western Feature film. A number of years later, a young 8 year old Canadian kid dreamt of becoming a lawman. Later, he did, and at the center of that grand vision was the aforementioned bridge feature film. It's title is Hang 'Em High - 1968, directed by Ted Post, starring Clint Eastwood and a robust cast of Hollywood talent that is likely almost as long as this podcast. The sun is high on the horizon and the time to Hang 'Em High, with the help of a podcast host and four life-long lawmen hailing from a variety of parts of North America. This is the WhatCopsWatch Perspective Review of 1968's Hang 'Em High.
