Jeannette Dürer ist eine Polizistin mit Herz und Verstand, doch leider auch mit einem Problem: Vor keinem Mann ist sie sicher, jeder in ihrem Kommissariat träumt von einer Affäre mit ihr. Um sich vor Nachstellungen zu schützen, geht sie scheinbar eine Beziehung mit ihrem jungen Kollegen Martin Knauer ein. Doch der ist der einzige, der sich nicht für sie interessiert. Als im Nürnberger Stadion die Leiche eines angesehenen Bürgers gefunden wird, muss Jeannette sich gegen Widerstände in ihrem Kommissariat durchsetzen. Sie glaubt nicht an die Vermutung, dass der Mörder unter den Fußballfans zu suchen ist. Bald geschieht ein zweiter Mord, und Jeannette glaubt sich auf der richtigen Spur: Der Mörder hat es anscheinend auf die Freimaurer von Nürnberg und Fürth abgesehen.
