Publisher's Summary

Thirty years in the making, Audacious is a deep dive into the message that has compelled Beth Moore to serve women around the globe. Glancing over the years of ministry behind her and strengthening her resolve to the call before her, she came to the realization that her vision for women was incomplete. It lacked something they were aching for. Something Jesus was longing for.

Beth identifies that missing link by digging through scripture, unearthing life experiences, and spotlighting a turning point with the capacity to infuse any life with holy passion and purpose. What was missing? Well, let's just say it's audacious, and it's for all of us. And it's the path to the life you were born to live.

Read the Book

Great Message! Beth Moore is a talented writer and is definitely anointed to share and teach God's word.

I gave the performance a 3 because if you are used to hearing her speak or watch her video sessions, listening to her read this book will not be the same.

I recommend this book to be read rather than listened to in this audio format.

Wonderful

What made the experience of listening to Audacious the most enjoyable?

Beth Moore brings has a way of speaking that engages the listener.

What does Beth Moore bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I have a great relationship with Jesus Christ but this book opened my eyes even more and gave me greater revelation. I believe in an intimate relationship with Him and even if you have one this book will take you deeper and really challenge you on your love for him.

Refreshing Listen From a Favorite Bible Teacher

After watching the 3-part TV series by Beth Moore on audacity I put two and two together and came up with the need to read/listen to Audacious by Beth Moore. As to reviewing it for my blog I was hesitant to do so because I didn’t know if I could write a review on a non-fiction, christian living book, and I didn’t know how it would fit into the set of books I feature here on Literary Treasure Chest. In the midst of all these doubts, though, the question of “why not?” started to surface and rain truth on the mud that began to accumulate. So here it is, the honest and colorful review of Beth Moore’s Audacious…

Audacious wasn’t my first exposure to Beth Moore’s writing, nor the first time I’d listened to an audiobook authored and narrated by her, so I’m very comfortable with her writing style. With that said, I did feel that the transition from listening to her on her TV series about the topics covered in this book, to listening to her read from her book was a little rocky. I also felt that the beginning of Audacious was poorly done seeing as she read her own dedication and I felt that it would’ve worked better if she, or the producers, would’ve had someone else read that portion, as have happened in other audiobooks I’ve listened to.

Audacious didn’t resonate as well with me as the other books I’ve read and listened to by Beth Moore. The only logical reason I can entertain for why this is falls to having previously watched the 3-part series over the topics discussed in Audacious. It sort of felt like I was listening to the same message all over again. But, I know had I not watched the series over this, Audacious would’ve impacted me something fierce.

What let me know that listening to Audacious for myself instead of just soaking in the message from Beth Moore’s 3-part series over it, was the very last chapter. My goodness, that last chapter warmed my heart something fierce that I’m still thinking about it almost a week later.

While Audacious wasn’t the best Beth Moore read/listen it still packed a powerful spiritual punch. I’ve never been good with keeping up with devotionals, but whenever I need an uplifting, or swift kick in the butt about my relationship with Christ the first voice of reason I want to hear is Beth Moore’s, so I’m glad that I have added a new listen to my collection of Beth Moore Christian Living books (So Long Insecurity is the first one.

Have some audacity to live the life that God has for y’all, no more compromises!

Needs a clearer voice for the reading

The voice of the person that is reading is so hoarse, thick, I love her when preaching but this time couldn't finish listening to the book

What a sweet surprise

I wanted to read this book because I’ve always enjoyed Beth Moore’s books and bible studies, but when I saw that she was the one reading the book I couldn’t purchase it fast enough! What a sweet surprise. I found myself heart eyed on more than one occasion as I listened to her relay some of her sweetest experiences. What a wonderful book full of beautiful expressions of audacious love for our beautiful Redeemer...Jesus!
