The only life Tress has known on her island home in an emerald-green ocean has been a simple one, with the simple pleasures of collecting cups brought by sailors from faraway lands and listening to stories told by her friend Charlie. Cut & Paste Version - Odd Editing
This abridged version appears to be just a badly cut version of the full length original.
The readers voice sounds peculiarly stilted where sentences have been cut and joined to others.
What a shame the 3rd abridged book in the series wasn’t recorded with Richard E Grant reading like the first two.
Unfortunately if you want the last book in the trilogy I wouldn’t recommend this - you’d be better off listening to the full length version.
