Great Murder Mystery

A really great introduction to Whispering Pines & its many secrets. I loved the practical approach to witchcraft & wicca. If your into paranormal witches, this book isn't that. The only thing I didn't like was the murder's motivation just didn't seem plausible enough. Definitely set up for more mysteries to be uncovered.

A good wet day read

I will definitely buy the next in the series.
I learnt a little about Wicca and their beliefs.
Likeable characters. Overall I'm glad I bought Family Secrets by Shawn McGuire.

good enough to listen to whilst driving

Clear pronunciation but lacks expression or softness when required. sometimes slightly too detailed. interesting enough storyline to keep me listening. unless there is a second book, would have liked more about her becoming a wiccan & why would her father if he grew up there & liked the area be in such a rush to be rid of his parents house?
