In einer Stadt in der Nähe der Kiautschoubucht war einmal ein Scherge namens Dung. Als er eines Tages von der Suche nach Dieben zurückkam, war die Dämmerung schon hereingebrochen. Ehe er den Fluss bei der Stadt durchwatete, setzte er sich am Ufer nieder, steckte sich eine Pfeife an und zog die Schuhe aus.
