Katisha Burt is a poet, writer, and self-published author. She attended the University at Albany where she studied English Literature and Creative Writing. Poetry is her first love, but later it became everything associated with books and publishing. Katisha loves being an auntie. She has several nephews and nieces whom she adores tremendously. Katisha created her company "Press The Ishu Publications," so she can share her love for creativity through the written word, while also inspiring others to do what they love too! Her goal will always be to add value to people's lives through her published works.
