هذا الكتاب الذي تم جمعه بعد وفاة الكاتب جبران خليل جبران يضم عدد الرسائل وبرقية أرسلها جبران إلى مي زيادة عندما كان في نيويورك. وسمي هذا الكتاب بالشعلة الزرقاء بعد أن ألهمت الرسالة الأخيرة جامع الكتاب لهذه التسمية، وقد كانت هذه الرسالة موجزة ومعبرة ورمزية، كما هو جبران عادةً، فهي كناية عن لوحة ليد مبسوطة تخرج منها شعلةٌ زرقاء كتب عليها "من جبران إلى ماري" وتم تأريخها بـ 26/ آذار/ 1931، مما يعني أنها آخر ما خطه جبران قبل وفاته بأسبوعين. الحب الذي نشأ بين جبران خليل جبران ومي زيادة حب أفلاطوني نادر، لم يكن مثله عبر التاريخ، وبالأخص تاريخ الأدب، ولم يكن مثلهما أي عاشق.

تدور أحداث الرواية حول سيدة عبد الجليل، الفتاة التي عانت منذ طفولتها من قسوة زوجة أبيها، فكبرت وهي تشعر بالحرمان من الحنان والأمان. وبعد وفاة والدها، تتفاقم معاناتها حين تُطرد من بيتها وتُواجه قسوة المجتمع وحدها. تعمل خادمة في البيوت وتتعرض للاستغلال، لكنها تظل متمسكة بكرامتها وحلمها في حياة أفضل. من خلال شخصية سيدة، يسلّط يوسف السباعي الضوء على معاناة المرأة البسيطة، وقسوة الفقر، والظلم الاجتماعي، مع إظهار قوة الإرادة والقدرة على مواجهة الشوك الذي يزرعه الآخرون في الطريق. الرواية تحمل رسالة إنسانية مؤثرة مفادها أن الحياة رغم قسوتها، يمكن أن تُثمر وردًا إذا واجهناها بالصبر والإيمان.

يبدأ الشاب دارتانيان رحلته نحو الفروسية متجها نحو باريس للقاء صديق والده لتعيينه في حرس الملك لكن ومنذ اليوم الأول يتصادم مع احد فرسان الكاردينال وثلاثة من فرسان الملك الشجعان ليكون صداقات وعداوات تدوم معه لفترة ليسة قصيرة من الوقت قصص الحب والفرسان الرائعة في زمن كان فيه النّبلاء ورجال الدّين في فرنسا بالقرن السابع عشر يتصارعون لكسب أكبر قدرٍ من النّفوذ والحظوة لدى الملك؛ وقد حشد الكاردينال والملك كلٌ في فريقٍ من الفرسان والحرس الأشدّاء؛ الأمر الذي أشعل نيران الفرقة بينهم، وكثيرًا ما درات اشتباكاتٌ ومبارزاتٌ عنيفةٌ في شوارع «باريس» بين أشياع النّبيل «دي تريفيل» ورجال الكاردينال «ريشيليه».

يسوع ابن الإنسان أو عيسى ابن الإنسان كتاب صدر لجبران خليل جبران عام 1928، وقد صدر باللغة الإنجليزية من نيويورك، ولم يترجم إلى العربية قبل العام 1962. يصف جبران في كتابه حياة المسيح وتعاليمه لكن برؤيا صوفية، فيرسم صورة المسيح من خلال الآخرين، فيورد آراء سبعة وسبعون شخصًا عاصروا المسيح وعرفوه ومعظمهم ممن ورد ذكرهم في الإنجيل، وهم يمثّلون فئات مختلفة، وقد ابتكر جبران منهجًا جديدًا لتحليل شخصية المسيح والتي أضفى عليها صفة الفرح والقوة والمحبة والصّلابة، والتمرد والثورة ، والعمل والصبر، وذلك في أسلوب غنيّ بالصّفاء والسلاسة والفكر.

"تعتبر رواية كانديد أو التفاؤل واحدة من أشهر روايات الأدب الفرنسي التي تمتاز بفلسفتها الرائعة المعقدة. وتقوم فكرة الرواية على أثر التربية التي تتمُّ في الصغر على الإنسان حين يكبر، فبطل الرواية الأساسي طفل عاش مع خاله ليربيه، فسلمه خاله إلى أحد المربين الذي علّمه أن يواجه الحياة بالتفاؤل وتوسم الخير في الجميع. ممّا جعله منفصلًا عمّا حوله، يقع في مشاكل عديدة لأجل تعامله مع المجتمع بمثل هذه الروح.

يعد هذا الكتاب آخر كلمات جبران خليل جبران التي لفظها قبل أن يغادر هذا العالم، فبه ترك صفحات غنيّة بالرأي للقارئ، وتحفل بالفكر، وتزخر بالصراع الذي تضطرم به نفس الإنسان. ولقد خط جبران هذا كله بعد أن وصل إلى زبدة أفكاره، لذا يعتبر هذا الكتاب من أهم ما يُعنى به الدارسون لحياة جبران خليل جبران. وهو عبارة عن حواريّة شعريّة تدور بين ثلاث شخصيّات يغلب عليها الاتجاه الروحاني، ويطلق عليها جبران تسمية آلهة الأرض، وذلك في رؤيا فلسفيّة رائعة للطّبيعة وعناصرها.

"بروتوكولات حكماء صهيون عبارة عن مجموعة من النصوص تتمحور حول "خطة" لسيطرة اليهود على العالم. تم نشر هذه النصوص لأول مرة في الإمبراطورية الروسية في جريدة زناميا في مدينة سانت بطرسبرغ عام 1903 م. يرى العديد من المؤرخين أن هذه الكتابات هي مجرد خدعة وخاصة بعد إجراء تحقيق صحفي عام 1921 م حول مصداقية هذه الكتابات قامت به صحيفة التايمز اللندنية واستخلص إلى أن المقالات هي تزوير أدبي لكتاب فرنسي وتم نشر سلسلة من المقالات التي وصفت عملية التزوير. في نفس السنة -أي عام 1921 — تم طبع النص الكامل للبروتوكولات في الولايات المتحدة وفي عام 1934 قام الطبيب السويسري زاندر Dr. A.
