Anxiety disorder and depression disorder are different from normal anxiety and depression in that the latter (normal anxiety and depression) are characteristics that all human races exhibit, while the former (anxiety disorder and depression disorder) are the abnormal reaction of anxiety and depression. However, this book uses anxiety and anxiety disorder interchangeably, and the same applies to depression and depression disorder.
