River of Fate

Ages ago, the world was filled with mythical beasts and cultivators who could shake the heavens. Whispers say they are searching for a way home, but an ancient enemy has blocked the path. Only by exploring a world on the verge of destruction will he be able to discover who he is and claim his destiny. He will rise from humble beginnings and shake the foundations of his world as he unlocks the heritage of the Emerald Dragons, gathering power until he is able to right an ancient wrong.

Legends of the Imperial Knights are older than the Starfall Empire itself. Their titles have been passed down for thousands of years, from the mists of a forgotten era, one that gave rise to powers greater than anything seen today. While searching for the source, Verse discovers the ruins of the Italith and an even older civilization. One that reveals his true heritage.

The history of the world lies in ruins left by the Elder Races. Only in the dragons' Emerald Halls can Verse find clues to what really happened. Nothing else has survived a hundred thousand years. In one of these ruins, he discovers a fragment of his history and a key to strengthening his ancestral bloodline, the heritage of the Emerald Dragons, one of the nine races who ruled the ancient world. In need of resources, he heads to Boreas, the greatest city for alchemy in the Middle Provinces.
