Magic Blood: The Warlock Series

I'm a mage. Problem is, it might kill me. In London, I have my dream job: stacking books in a university library. Even though I'm a mage, I have a quiet life these days. At least, until Levi shows up. Immediately, I know he's trouble. He's too sexy, and I can tell he's dangerous. Worse, he wants a forbidden book in my library. No way in hell am I going to give it to him. It's my job to protect it. But now, Levi won't let it go. And it turns out, he's not the only person who wants the book. All of a sudden, enemies are closing in on me, trying to get the book.  

I traded in my life of magic and demon hunting for a quiet one a long time ago. In the space of a couple of nights, I've become homeless, jobless, and I'm now hiding from people who want to open a back door to Hell itself. Things could be worse; I could be alone, too. Instead, I'm rooming up with the sexy mage, Levi, and that's been...interesting. Then one night I get a phone call from out of nowhere, and suddenly we have a lead on the book we've been looking for; or an invitation into a trap. Never one to take my own best advice, I spring into the lead head-on.

My mission to save London from suffering the same fate as most of the US sees me diving into the London Underground in search of a Hell Hole, but finding it is the least of my problems. One by one, the things that make the Eyes a functioning cabal are being picked apart, leaving us out of communication and seriously damaging our ability to stop Cerberus before it's too late, and when disaster strikes, none of us are prepared to deal with it. Least of all me.  

There is a secret war being waged in London's magic underground, but now, that war is going to spill out into the world of humans. I know what Cerberus wants; he covets the power of the infernal Hellfire, and with Reaper on his team, his chances of getting it have gone up tenfold. With the Eyes hamstrung as we are, I don't see light at the end of the tunnel; only more darkness. That's when the first body shows up, and everything changes. 

I didn't have a choice. If I hadn't done what I did, Reaper would've set in motion a chain of events that would've consumed London and everyone in it in unholy, demonic flames. With Levi, Mason, and the Eyes stretched to breaking point, I have to push one more time to try and put an end to the chaos that fell over my life the moment that book made it into my hands, but a visit from a ghost throws a spanner in the works that threatens to send me into madness before I can complete my mission.
