As a man of letters, Baden Anderson feels he has reached the very pinnacle of his profession. He is, after all, a tenured professor at Oxford University England. Peace reigns until his wayward shoelace and a White Oleander decide his life will take a very drastic turn. Suddenly, Baden Anderson finds himself an unwilling guest of the Fae Queen, with a request to combine his knowledge of science with her people’s magic and save them from the evil Guy of Gisburn.

The Gisburn Hall Series focuses on the area more famously known for Robin Hood. Now called Gisburn Park, these stories focus on the Fae and magic within the forests. In this tale, we concentrate on Ophelia, sister of Baden Anderson, safely ensconced at Pendle Towers in her position as conservator. A location she is told is the oldest museum in the world. Ophelia meets the love of her life, which comes with a crown. She soon discovers she has more talents than she ever imagined. As everyone knows, Fairies have many large and small lanterns spread across their domain and many other nations.
