Conquering the Kingdom

The game is Conquer, played for the king's amusement by the most notorious criminals and ambitious lordlings. Aron Stone, street rat turned commander of the king's First Legion, doesn't have patience for pointless games. But when a series of unfortunate events earns him the king's ire, he is forced to participate. Armed with a ragtag troop of dwarves, a beautiful but short-tempered sorceress, and a doting mistress, Aron must grow his forces, locate valuable weapons and magical artifacts, and win the day. Only complete victory will allow him to escape the arena and get his revenge.

After climbing the Conquer leaderboard by killing monsters and defeating his enemies, Aron Stone turns his eye toward the top competitors: Lady Brie of Blackhelm and the notorious rapist, Har Night. The only problem: King u'Moab and his wizard, Dromeus, are hell-bent on destroying Aron before he can further grow his power. If Aron is to truly conquer, he must look evil in the eye and spit directly in its face.

In the land of the fae, not everything is as it seems - a lesson Aron Stone must learn the hard way if he is to survive to continue his mission to destroy the Odinian king's oppressive regime. More than that, Aron must face the truth about his past and origins, which are mired in mystery and shrouded in fate. Will good conquer evil? The answer will be determined by the sword.
