Story
Sex, lies, conflicts of interest, international intrigue, and a double-cross of thousands of union employees in the heart of America. Add to that three major companies' futures on the line and an assassination by anarchist terrorists in Paris of one of the company's chairman that almost kills a deal to save at least two of the companies. Hollywood? No. This was real. The Last American CEO is the ultimate insider's view of one of the biggest global business deals in history: Chrysler's 1987 purchase of American Motors.

He also worked in cooperation with the United States Air Force (1953-1957), investigating and reporting UFO activity, having been assigned a special code number for reporting to the Air Defense Command in Columbus, Ohio. For over 30 years, Stringfield served in several of the major UFO organizations in a public relations capacity. From 1957 to 1970, he was public relations adviser with the National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena (NICAP). Later on, he was Director of Public Relations and a board member of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). He was also a regional investigator for the Center for UFO Studies, directed by Dr. J. Allen Hynek. Stringfield was an executive with DuBois Chemicals, an international manufacturer. Stringfield retired in 1981 as Director of Public Relations and Marketing Services for DuBois Chemicals, a division of Chemed Corp., after 31 years of service with the company. From 1967-1968 he served as Early Warning Coordinator for the University of Colorado UFO Project, screening UFO reports for possible scientific study. Stringfield was also an advisor to Sir Eric Gairy, former Prime Minister of Grenada, 1977-78, during his efforts to establish a UFO research agency within the framework of the United Nations. Stringfield passed away in 1994, leaving a string of fascinating publications behind, one of which is Crash Retrievals: Status Report II: The UFO Crash Retrieval Syndrome - New Sources, New Data, based on a talk Stringfield gave at a MUFON convention in 1978.

Story
This audiobook was originally inspired by Harry Truman, who said, "Give me a one-handed economist!" As an empiricist I advocate that no ideology is right or wrong but that conditions and data are all that should drive our policymaking decisions. Every policy has a place where it will or will not work. My view on economic policymaking and world poverty is unique to the literature, since it is precisely opposite to Harry Truman's desire. The world is complex; Harry Truman needed a Three Handed Economist; one hand was never enough.

If you are wondering if this is yet another quack self-help book, you are wrong! The proof is in the pudding. No one can look at the life of John A. Keel and not see success. Raised poor on a rural farm in upstate New York, Keel arrived in New York City with less than a dollar in his pocket, yet rose to prominence and lived to be a ripe old age, freely enjoying the benefits of licensing his thought-provoking work to Hollywood.

Story
The United States has fought a war against drinking and driving for more than 100 years. Many battles have been won, but DUI still kills more than 10,000 people in America every year, and injures tens of thousands more. "More Americans have been killed in alcohol-related traffic crashes than in all wars the United States has been involved in since it was founded," according to the National Criminal Justice Reference Service.

Story
New Saucerian is honored to present Gray Barker's The Strange Case of Dr. M.K. Jessup, the very first book ever published about the suspicious death of early UFO researcher M.K. Jessup, and his possible relationship to the Philadelphia Experiment. Jessup's own book, The Case For the UFO, perhaps the first to argue that UFOs were an ongoing terrestrial phenomena, had become a blockbuster, and was reprinted by the Varo Corporation, under the auspices of the U.S. Navy.

Story
During our study of the Titanic catastrophe it became clear to us that the leadership lessons from the Titanic clearly apply to businesses today as much as they did to the ships at this iconic event more than 100 years ago. This book will draw parallels between the Titanic catastrophe and today's contemporary business world. As our reader will hopefully see, there are many lessons to be learned by today's business practitioners.

Story
Reshoring is essentially the opposite of offshoring, it is a term used to describe the act of bringing back offshored manufacturing to a country. In the beginning of 2011, for the most part, most people thought that this was just impossible, that there would be no reshoring to the U.S. or UK, that everything was going to China, manufacturing was leaving both countries and it will never come back and I think the striking thing is how much that’s changed in the last three years.

Revealing how seemingly race-neutral urban sites contain hidden racial assumptions and imperatives, Lipsitz examines the ways in which urban space and social experience are racialized and emphasizes that aggrieved communities do not passively acquiesce to racism. He recognizes the people and communities that have re-imagined segregated spaces in expressive culture as places for congregation.

Story
The saying, 'Not all who wander are lost,' serves as a psychological piece that prompts us to reevaluate certain American values, such as relying solely on superficial judgments (the 'eye test') and being enticed by masterful communication that can leave us vulnerable. This book advocates for awareness and the pursuit of more information in all aspects of life, providing tools to achieve this goal. Furthermore, it serves as a reminder that while happiness may be fleeting, what truly matters is the relationships we build and nurture.
