I'm Charisma Carter, tech genius and nerd extraordinaire. I actually used to be Charisma Silverstorm, member of one of the six elite Arcane Families, until my family shunned me when I turned 18 because my magic wasn't strong enough. However, where I lack in magic I more than make up for with the tech I develop, if I do say so myself. Apparently I'm not the only one. From the minute I received my diploma as a magical engineer, it seems like my world has turned upside down. Now, members of all six families are competing to get me to work for them.

All we have to do is find a way out of this hole, fight a bazillion rebels, And save the day, so I can go back to my men. No big deal, right? If we live through this, and I get to see my men again, I'll be Ecstatic. And if I take down my psycho cousin while we’re at it, that’s even better.

Graduate as a Magical Engineer? Check. Get people to finally acknowledge my amazing tech skills? Check. Find that special someone who wants me for me? Check...times a lot. Avoid the Arcane Heirs at all costs? Erh.... Find out who was behind the resistance and stop them from killing even more people? It's a work in progress. Stay out of trouble? *Crickets*

Being a Magical Engineer is easy. You know what’s not easy? Trying to help stop a coup against one of the Arcane families. Or fighting against a bloodthirsty rebellion. I go on solo missions, kicking ass and taking names, I hook up with men whenever I want to blow off some steam, and I hang out with my family if I’m ever after company. Everything changes when my psycho uncle fails in his attempt to kill my father. Now, I’m in charge of the manhunt against him.

However, I also met some pretty amazing people, helped AMIA dismantle the resistance, and even stopped a coup from happening. But most of all, I found love.

Being an AMIA agent isn't always easy, yet I wouldn't change it for the world. Sure, all the paperwork is boring, but nothing quite beats the satisfaction of closing a case. Unfortunately, some cases are harder to crack than others. And finding my psychotic uncle might just be the most difficult assignment of all.
