LGBTQ representation in media has been skyrocketing over the last few years. In 2022, 12% of recurring roles in US television were LGBTQ characters.But is this representation good? Does it accurately portray the LGBTQ community? Is it positive or negative for our community? These are the questions we seek to answer in Under Queer Review, a monthly media review podcast where three queers (Matt, Pat, and Jackie) take a critical lens to queer media and decide whether or not it passes the "Queer Review".
