Life has been really stressful recently. It’s been months since I’ve had my needs met. I’m trying to find someone to hookup with at my local club, but I’m not sure how to do it. The owner, Will, has always been so kind to me. I think he could be a good daddy for me. But is he the daddy I need?

My friends left me standing alone in the club on my birthday. I’m hoping someone will ask me to dance too. When I see him, there’s instant attraction. I think he feels it, too. When he takes me to his place, I’m not sure if he can give me what I need. It doesn’t matter, though. I want him to be my daddy, even if it’s just for my birthday.

Potter based the story on a real-world incident involving John Prichard, a Gloucester tailor who had a commission to make a new suit for the new mayor. But it’s Potter’s charming touch of adding impish, mischievous animals to move the story along that make this children’s classic.
