About this listen

The You Can Call Me “Bossy” Podcast is designed to support high-achieving, high-performance women navigate the label “bossy” and all the responsibility, stigma, growth, and power that comes along with it. As a fellow high-achiever, high-performer and “bossy” lady, I have had to navigate the waters of this label since I was a little girl. The shame, pressure, misunderstanding, and fear associated with this label has dictated a lot of the choices and actions I’ve taken in my life, as well as for the women I am honored enough to coach. What I have struggled with most is the inner conflict to “be myself” and go after my dreams and goals and stand in my leadership while also being told that I was too much, too loud, too demanding, too structured. When these are the traits that are being denounced, and yet they are also the traits that others celebrate as my super powers, how do we as women reconcile that? How do we STAND IN OUR POWER AND LEADERSHIP while also making everyone else happy and comfortable? That’s what the YOU CAN CALL ME “BOSSY” podcast will aim to answer, and so much more! • EP 211: EFT Tapping - REPLAY - Using Your Voice In The Boardroom
    Sep 25 2025

Welcome back to another EFT replay tapping session on the YOU CAN CALL ME “BOSSY” PODCAST! This replay comes from when I did 100 Days of EFT tapping on my Instagram page. If you need a visual link the original EFT tapping session will be in the show notes below. This session is all about diving deep into the vital idea of “filling your cup first.” I unpack the generational beliefs that have long encouraged women to put everyone else’s needs ahead of their own, and offer a refreshing perspective on why prioritizing self-care isn’t selfish—it’s essential.

Today I will guide us through the powerful practice of tapping to help release negative energy and anxiety, especially when it comes to using your voice in high-stakes environments like the boardroom. Inspired by real client experiences, I explain how feelings of contraction and self-doubt can hold us back from speaking up, and how EFT tapping offers a simple, effective way to move through those blocks. Whether you're following along with the audio or checking out the linked Instagram video, this episode is all about making space for confidence, clarity, and self-expression. Get ready to tap in, let go, and discover the empowering benefits of using your authentic voice where it matters most.

Throughout the interactive session, I'll guide you through tapping on different meridian points while addressing common self-doubts and fears, ultimately aiming to instill a sense of empowerment and readiness to tackle challenges.

So, sit back, follow along, and let's dive into this transformative EFT tapping experience. If you need a visual while tapping you can CLICK HERE for the Instagram post I shared with a step-by-step guide.

  • EP 209: QUICK HIT: The Most Dangerous Phrase
    Sep 23 2025

Welcome to the YOU CAN CALL ME “BOSSY” PODCAST! In this week’s quick hit episode I am getting into one of the most common—and sneakiest—pitfalls in personal growth: believing you’ve already worked through your biggest blocks and don’t need to revisit them. Inspired by a powerful group coaching session, I share how saying “I already worked on that” can actually prevent us from making real progress.

Get ready for insights on peeling back the layers of self-awareness, understanding the true purpose of emotional triggers, and embracing ongoing growth at every new level. Whether you’re deeply invested in your own development or just curious about how to handle those old patterns that keep resurfacing, this episode is packed with practical wisdom and real-life examples that will help you stay open, honest, and empowered on your journey.

    Key Takeaways:

    • The importance of revisiting issues at new stages for deeper growth.
    • Empowerment comes from recognizing returning patterns and choosing conscious responses.
    • The “work” is ongoing discomfort, not the absence of struggle.
