    Jul 31 2025

    Send us a text

Meet Monica Cox was stuck in the cycle of the fertility industry for years, spending huge amounts of money and living a life of false hope and disappointment as treatment after treatment failed. She started to seek alternative options, and went on an amazing, enlightening, and ultimately successful journey! Monica now helps high-achieving women break free from control addiction and endless fertility protocols so they can shift their energy, trust their intuition, and finally create the family they desire. Unlike most mindset coaches who offer generic manifestation advice, Monica helps women identify the specific subconscious blocks and energy patterns keeping them stuck in "trying" mode instead of receiving mode.

Buckle up for this one, its a really amazing, and extraordinary story of courage, will power, and total inspiration. Lindsay Boudreau had a very rare underlying illness, CMT Disease, that meant she had weakened sensations in her feet, and so she couldn't feel the pain of an infection caused by a nail she had stepped on, one day while walking. Over many weeks, she became very ill, and very weak, and doctors simply couldn't find what was wrong with her until it was too late. Eventually, on realizing the spreading infection could kill her, they took steps to amputate. Lindsay is a beacon of hope for those who are living life after limb loss, and even has a coaching business, helping other limb loss survivors and other medical trauma survivors, by building hope and resilience and practicing mindfulness and wellbeing. Simply amazing!

It is an absolute pleasure to have Dr Maurice Turmel on the show for a candid, relatable, and inspiring chat. Dr. Moe’s path wasn’t a straight one—it was hard-won. His father was physically abusive, and he grew up surrounded by strict Catholic indoctrination. Emerging from a childhood marked by emotional trauma, religious repression, and self-doubt, he forged a transformative journey of healing and self-emancipation. His life’s work is a testament to the power of the human spirit to rise. Over the decades, he broke free from harmful early programming and came to embrace a simple, liberating truth. Turmel spent more than 25 years in clinical practice, counselling individuals, families, and organizations. His message pulses through his writing, music, and teachings. Dr. Turmel has authored numerous books including his latest, Breaking the Spell of Religion & Healing the Trauma. Thank you Maurice! (Dr Moe)

  • S5 EP24: Sydney's Story - My Adoption Journey
    Jun 12 2025

    Send us a text

This week Sydney Curtin joins us for an amazing episode that shows just how trauma can affect choices, and that it is possible to use our own traumatic experiences for good as we continue to recover. At just 13 years old, Sydney lost her Mother to suicide, after years of drug addiction. Her father became abusive in the aftermath, and Sydney would continue to dive into unhealthy relationships though her teens and into adulthood. At 20, she became pregnant by a man that was violent and not fit to be a father, and so she made the difficult decision to give her daughter up for adoption. With no support, no one to help guide her through her decision, and red-tape and contracts that didn't make sense, she ended up losing contact with her daughter even though she had believed it was an open adoption allowing her to stay in contact with her daughter as she grew up. Her experience led her to begin looking into adoption laws, and seeking reform, to help other mothers, but also prospective parents, really understand their choices. Sydney successfully changed legislation on open adoption in Idaho, advocating for ethical reform and transparency, making her a powerful public advocate. Thank your Sydney!

  • S5 EP22: Harriet's Story - I Was Hit By A Car At 101 mph!
    May 29 2025

    Send us a text

Join us as we re-visit one of the most listened to episodes in the last 5 years! And yes, we are still following Harriett's journey across Social Media. Every now and then a guest comes along, where we ask ourselves, how on earth are they still here to tell the tale? Harriet Barnsley was waiting at a Bus Stop in Birmingham, England, with her friend, just like they did a thousand times before. Two speeding cars came racing around the corner, and lost control, hitting Harriet and her best friend from childhood, at 101mph. Tragically her friend was killed outright, and Harriet ended up 50 feet away in a park. It was 7.30pm, on just another Saturday evening. The accident left Harriet for dead. Now, 10 years on, she joins us to tell her amazing story.
