Using Your Gift to Make a Difference

  • Summary

  • We are all uniquely gifted and talented by God. In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul tells us about the different types of spiritual gifts. When we understand our spiritual gift(s), we can then discern with the help of the Holy Spirit how to apply and use them to influence the world around us for the furtherance of the Gospel.

Aside from the spiritual gifts, we are all also talented in different ways with practical means to engage people in our every day lives.

This episode is a recording of a talk Michael gave during a Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Wrestling breakfast. He shares a personal story of his testimony, and encourages the audience to keep pursuing their calling in Christ in the midst of hardship, trials, and being weary.

While this message was for a crowd of wrestlers, it’s applicable to anyone who desires to be used by the Lord. It takes a tremendous amount of perseverance to accomplish the plans of the Lord, but it’s worth it.

Do you know what your gift(s) are? How are you using them?
