  • This week we spoke to Mandu Reid, leader of the Women’s Equality Party. We recorded this episode because International Day of the Elimination of Violence against women but talking about violence against women is sadly always a relevant topic. In our chat we explored the link between sexism and violence against women, how all of that contributes towards gender inequality and why, despite it being the most persistent and devastating human rights violation in the world, it’s not high on the political agenda. Mandu talked about her party WEP’s hopes and plans to end male violence against women and what changes we need to install in society to address the challenges we face.
