  • This story is entitled "The seventh miracle." Why? Because Johns Gospel revolves around only seven miracles and seven "I AM" statements. Out of the countless miracles Jesus ever did, he only records seven. Well, this one is the seventh.

    This is where Jesus took a man dead for four days in a cave and brought him back to life; his name was Lazarus. And the statement was, "I AM " the resurrection and the Life. This miraculous event occurred at the culmination of the Lord's ministry. Just days before, the Lord would be betrayed by Judas, handed over to the Gentiles, and ultimately crucified for the sins of the world. It is to our great comfort to learn from this narrative Jesus has life within Himself that indeed he is the resurrection and the life and the authority of it. So with that, please be in courage to listen and learn how Jesus not only taught the resurrection but demonstrated it according to John's gospel on the House Top Gospel Podcast.
