    In this weeks episode we will be focusing on how to transition from winter to summer training.

    A lot of people will be finishing spring races and moving into their next training block with the summer challenges coming up ahead. This time can feel a little difficult to navigate through, but we wanted to provide some motivation and inspiration to get you excited for the rest of the year.

    We also answered some of your questions including:

    • How long should you be in a base building phase for? And what sessions to focus on.
    • How many days a week should you be training after returning from injury?
    • What sessions to be doing if you're training for a 5/10k to then move into an Autumn Marathon.
    • How to best phase into summer training in terms of heat / hydration / effort and what to expect in terms of heart rate?
    • How do you increase stride length?

  • Geneva Half Marathon Race Recap - Reflecting on a Half Marathon Training Block

    Last weekend the coaches were in Geneva for the Marathon weekend.

    Katie and James had both been building up to a half marathon this spring, ready for Marathon training later on in the year.

    In this episode, we reflected on our races, how they went and unfolded and reflected on the block to workout out what went well, what could have been improved on and what we've learnt for the remainder of the year.
