• Rituals vs. Resolutions: How to Mentally "Cross the Threshold" for 2026
    Dec 26 2025

If you are listening to this, we are likely in that strange, quiet week between Christmas and New Year’s. It is a time where days blur together and time feels slippery. Usually, this is the week we obsess over New Year’s Resolutions. We buy planners, make lists, and intellectualize our growth.

But have you ever wondered why most resolutions fail by February?

In this episode, I’m sharing a realization that changed how I approach the New Year: We are trying to bring new habits into an old version of ourselves.

We try to enter a new world without fully leaving the old one behind.

I am recording this episode right before embarking on my first-ever solo international trip to Taiwan. While physically crossing a border is scary, I realized I needed to mentally cross a threshold too.

Join me as I walk you through the psychology of "Liminal Space" and perform a live Burning Bowl Ceremony on the mic to release the heavy baggage of 2025.

    In this episode, we cover:

    1. The Liminal Space: Understanding the psychology of the "hallway" between who you were and who you will be.

    2. The Hero’s Journey: Why you need to "Cross the Threshold" to leave the Ordinary World behind, inspired by Joseph Campbell.

    3. My Vulnerable Release: Listen as I physically burn my three biggest limiting beliefs of 2025.

    4. Leadership Reflection: Why corporate leaders need to close the loop with their teams before setting new KPIs.

Why Listen? Resolutions are intellectual, but rituals are somatic—they are physical.

If you feel restless, anxious, or empty right now, this episode is your invitation to pause. Don't just change the calendar. Change the narrative. Let’s burn the old story so we can walk into 2026 light, open, and ready to lead boldly.

  • You Aren’t Lazy, You’re "Solitude Deprived" | Permission to Unplug
    Dec 19 2025

When was the last time you were alone with your own thoughts for 15 minutes without a screen?

I’m not talking about being alone in a room while scrolling Instagram. I’m talking about zero input. No podcasts, no emails, no music. Just you and your brain. If that thought makes you feel twitchy or anxious, you aren’t alone. You might be experiencing Solitude Deprivation.

In this episode of The Love Ravina Podcast, we are tackling the heavy "December Dread" and the feeling of being constantly overstimulated.

As a corporate leader, I used to think resting was unproductive. But I’ve learned that to show up boldly, we don't need more hustle—we need to stop the noise so we can actually hear ourselves think.

We’re diving into the neuroscience of rest, specifically the Default Mode Network (DMN), and why high performers need to reframe "unplugging" as a performance strategy, not a sign of laziness.

    In this episode, we cover:

🟢 Isolation vs. Solitude: Why sitting alone while scrolling TikTok is not solitude and how constant input blocks your brain from processing emotions.

🟢 The Neuroscience of Rest: Understanding the "Default Mode Network" and why your best, most creative ideas only show up when you stop focusing on tasks.

🟢 Overcoming the Fear of Unplugging: How to handle the anxiety of "What if there is an emergency?" without staying glued to your phone 24/7.

🟢 The "Allowed People Only" Hack: The specific iPhone Focus setting I use to protect my peace while ensuring my parents can still reach me in an emergency.

🟢 The "Fake Commute" Challenge: A simple, 15-minute morning routine to reclaim your thoughts before the world rushes in.Key Takeaway: Rest is not the enemy of leadership; it is the fuel for it. You don't have to be available 24/7 to be a good leader. By setting small boundaries—like the "Allowed People Only" setting—you can be present for your life without neglecting your priorities.

If you are ready to beat the burnout and reclaim your brain space for the New Year, this episode is your permission slip to unplug.

Join the conversation: Are you going to try the "Fake Commute" challenge this week? Let me know in the comments!

  • Stop Cataloging Wins: How to Build a "COOKIE JAR" for 2026
    Dec 12 2025

We are at that time of year when Instagram is flooded with "2025 Recap" reels. You know the ones—the promotions, the travel, the shiny moments set to trending audio. It is the "Resume" version of the year.

But if I am being honest? By mid-December, most of us don't feel successful. We feel beaten down and exhausted.

If we only look at our trophies, we forget the gritty, messy resilience it took to get them. In this episode, we are not cataloging your wins. We are cataloging your survival.

    In this episode, I cover:

    1. The "Cookie Jar" Concept: Based on David Goggins' method, this isn't about a treat or reward. It is a mental reserve where you store memories of the obstacles you have overcome.

    2. My "Invisible Win" of 2025: I share a story I haven't posted on social media.

    3. Resume vs. Cookie Jar: A resume is for your boss or LinkedIn; the Cookie Jar is for you. I break down how my podcast relaunch looked on paper versus the terrified reality of almost canceling my recording session at Sonor Studios.

    4. Cognitive Reframing: How to stop viewing your 2025 struggles as "trauma" or "stress" and start reframing them as evidence of your strength.

    5. The Corporate Cookie: Why your past KPIs won't help you navigate new problems, and how leaders can use this method to help teams survive uncharted territory.

Next year won't necessarily be easier. But when you have a Cookie Jar, you can remind yourself: "I have been in hell before, and I survived it. I am the kind of person who thrives."

  • The Holiday ENERGY AUDIT: How to Beat "December Dread", Say No, & Set Boundaries
    Dec 5 2025

Raise your hand if you already feel exhausted just by looking at your calendar for December.

We actually call this "December Dread"—that specific exhaustion you feel by having so many obligations yet so little emotional bandwidth.

You look at the parties, the family dinners, the reunions, and the corporate mixers, and you feel heavy. Most of us think the solution is better time management. We think that if we organize our calendar better, we can survive it.

But here is the hard truth: The reason you are feeling this holiday fatigue is not that you lack time. The reason is that you are abandoning yourself to please or accommodate others.

In this episode, I’m sharing a concept I came across called the "Energy Audit" by researchers Jim Loehr and Tony Schwartz. The core philosophy is that time is finite, but our energy is renewable. We cannot create more hours in a day, but we can change the quality of the energy we bring to them.

I truly believe we need to learn how to allow ourselves to enjoy and genuinely have fun during the holidays. You have faced a lot of challenges this year, and it is important that we spend the holidays meaningfully and intentionally.

  • UNIFY (Part 4): My Non-Negotiable Rules for Leadership Legacy and Self-Aware Delegation
    Nov 28 2025

In the final episode of the UNIFY series, I dive into Chapter 11: Performance Playbook and reveal the non-negotiable rules I enforce to build a leadership legacy that runs itself.

I share the ultimate test for any system I build in my division:

Will it last without constant direct supervision?

I learned that if the answer is no, I have only built another source of friction.

In this transformative finale, I unpack my core playbook principles:

Rule 1: Document, Decide, Define: Documentation is the bedrock of accountability and sustainability.

Rule 2: Leading with Self-Aware Delegation: I confess how my faster execution pace creates unnecessary pressure on my associates. I share my three tools to lead with support, not speed.

The Legacy Commitment: I reveal my biggest action prompted by the book: Formalizing the Divisional Holy Trinity Filter to make it the non-negotiable standard for all future decision-making.

My final core takeaway for every leader struggling with instability:

In the chaos of corporate life, the greatest leadership is found in building and defending your own island of clarity.

  • UNIFY (Part 3): Leading the Reconstruction Era—How to Redefine Your Business Pulse
    Nov 21 2025

In this episode, I dive into Section Three: Organization of the UNIFY e-book by my mentor, Florentino A. Hernando (Sir FAH).

This section forced me to confront a difficult reality: my corporate life is currently in a Reconstruction Era.

I am inheriting problems I did not create and leading people who are tired. The key insight is: I am not being resisted for who I am; I am being resisted because people are still recovering from old pain.

Since I lack corporate cash flow visibility, I could not use the book's standard Holy Trinity (Cash, Customer, Culture). Instead, I created my own, focused on my division's control:

✅ Pillar 1 (Financial Reframed): Resource Stability (Time & Capacity)

✅ Pillar 2 (Customer Reframed): Tutor Relationship (Loyalty & Satisfaction)

✅ Pillar 3 (Employee Reframed): Associate Morale (Resilience & Commitment)

  • UNIFY (Part 2): How to Build a System That Runs Itself
    Nov 14 2025

The Leadership Toolkit: 3 Simple Frameworks to Unify ANY Team (UNIFY SERIES Part 2)

In this episode, I move beyond mindset (Part 1) and dive into Section Two: Operation of the UNIFY e-book by my mentor, Florentino A. Hernando (Sir FAH).

When I started leading a new department with 12 associates and "zero processes", I learned that sheer effort wasn't sustainable. Great leaders aren't just "time tellers; they are clock builders". This episode provides the practical frameworks to turn unification into action.

In this episode, I unpack my lessons from three key chapters:

    • Chapter 4: Performance Fundamentals (The GRS Model)
    • Chapter 5: Performance Catalyst (Mutual Respect)
    • Chapter 6: Performance Protocols (The Three D's)

In this episode, I kick off a special four-part series inspired by my mentor, Florentino A. Hernando (Sir FAH), Executive Advisor and Managing Director of FA Hernando Executive Advisory.

The Pain Point: I share my early corporate "messy failure" where my talented 12-person team struggled with timeliness (only 30% hit deadlines). I realized the problem wasn't skill; it was misalignment—the invisible killer.
