  • #273: Diabetes Isn't Black & White - Jon Cellier
    Apr 25 2025

Hey Diabuddy thank you for listening to show, send me some positive vibes with your favorite part of this episode.

In today's episode, I sit down with Jon Cellier. Born in France, Jon moved to the UK 15 years ago. For 29 years, he lived without considering what he ate or drank and how it would impact his daily life. Then, in 2015, he was hit with an unknown condition to him, Type 1 Diabetes LADA. From day one, he told myself: "You cannot change it, so embrace it." From there, he decided to pursue the things he wanted to do and live life without restrictions. Marathon and Ultra Marathon swimming (10K+) became his passion. Jon and I talk in-depth about his time in the water and how he manages this complex condition during such a long and gruesome race. This is another example of how Diabetes should never get in your way of living your best life!
