Talking USC and UCLA spring football with hosts Ryan Abraham and David Woods

  • Summary

  • In this episode of the Podcast of Champions hosts Ryan Abraham and David Woods are in studio finishing up their deep-dive into all of the former Pac-12 football programs, talking about how the USC Trojans and UCLA Bruins finished up their respective spring football sessions. On the USC side, head coach Lincoln Riley had to figure out a way to replace Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams and fix a defense that was one of the worst in the Power Five the past two seasons. Ryan talks about how Miller Moss looked and if the defensive staff changes, including former UCLA defensive coordinator D'Anton Lynn, will be enough to make that defense respectable again. For UCLA new head coach DeShaun Foster got his first chance to coach up his guys in Westwood, bringing some excitement to a fanbase that was starved for attention by the former regime. Dave talks about what this new-look Bruin team accomplished this spring and how active Foster was in the transfer portal. As usual Ryan and Dave end the podcast answering listener emails and questions from the YouTube chat. For the video simulcasts of our POC please subscribe to your YouTube channel!
