  • System thinker Naomie Verstraeten about the Brainport region
    Feb 28 2025

About Naomie Verstraeten and Brainport Development
For the Brainport region, being at the forefront of Key Enabling Technologies is crucial for Brainport to make a relevant contribution to solutions that the world of today and the future demands. And more importantly, we are better than anyone else at connecting high-tech complex systems and integrating various key technologies. The regional strength lies in connecting complex systems and applying technological knowledge in future-proof business models.

    ..
In the past years, we have built consortia for green & smart mobility, battery technology, high-tech food systems, Systems Engineering, additive manufacturing and we are not done yet.
    ...

As a system thinker myself, I think from a bigger picture instead of silos. Based on facts & figures, I dare to choose direction and define big hairy ambitious goals. To achieve these goals, I bring focus, am persistent and do not give up and continue to see opportunities to eventually scale up from a small regional initiative to an international scale with a lot of involvement, support and economic growth of parties.

    ...
I like to challenge innovative companies and international stakeholders to join forces to create new solutions for a better world!
