  • OMNOM Interview- SGV, Marching Band, Dirtybird, Originality, New Album, Desperate Housevibes
    Mar 8 2021

OMNOM is a DJ/Producer from Los Angeles, CA. His delightfully unconventional brand of House, which has been described by some as “a whirlpool of weird,” features his unmistakably peculiar vocals floating over the infectious basslines that have earned him the support of some of House music’s heaviest-hitters including Walker & Royce, FISHER, Kyle Watson, Claude Vonstroke, and Justin Martin. Since bursting onto the scene in 2018, OMNOM has gone on to release several original tracks and remixes with labels such as Dirtybird, Confession, Box of Cats, and Insomniac. "OMNOM's not the DJ we wanted. He's not necessarily the DJ we need either. But he’s here now, and we’re all just going to have to deal with it."

Lektrique has a unique style of dance music combining classical melodies with inventive sound design. Lektrique is also the host of the Kannibalen Radio Podcast, a bi-weekly mix series with a loyal following. In 2016, the producer has teamed up with Black Tiger Sex Machine for the iconic “Armada.” The song, featured on BTSM’s debut album, is another collaboration with his Kannibalen brethren after 2015’s standout “Religion.” Lektrique’s “Dark Matter” single combines dubstep, classical music and breakbeat for a sound that few can match. Fresh off the release of his new EP Break Your Skull, Lektrique has created a sound that’s just what electro needs in 2017: innovative, enduring and heavy.

  • ECHOSMITH Interview- performing with Taylor Swift
    Jan 22 2020

Echosmith is an indie pop band comprised of siblings Sydney, Noah, and Graham Sierota. Started in 2009, the family band has gone through immense changes over the decade: their brother Jamie leaving the band in 2016, development in songwriting content and style, and more. In this sidewalk interview, Lara asks the band a few questions about their lives and how they’ve grown since they first started making music together/since they put out their debut album Talking Dreams. The ”Cool Kids” songwriters shed light on their adolescence growing up in the Toluca Lake, Glendale, Pasadena, and Chino Hills areas; what it was like for them to garner attention and success at a young age as teenagers signed by Warner Brothers; the things they felt when touring with Pentatonix and Twenty One Pilots; what went through their mind when winning the MTV Fandom Awards; how they’ve grown as individuals beyond their music; and so much more. Watch the interview to hear the whole story before they drop their sophomore album Lonely Generation in 2020!
