SCOPE: SCO Naz

By: South Central Ohio District
  • Summary

  • SCOPE is a podcast designed to engage with Nazarene pastors and leaders on the
South Central Ohio District, but anyone is welcome to listen. The name stands for South
Central Ohio Podcast Exchange to highlight the exchange of ideas and best practices.
SCOPE is also designed to offer a healthy dose of inspiration. The episodes are hosted
by Sam Barber, the District Superintendent for the Church of the Nazarene in central
and southeastern Ohio. A former local church pastor of more than 30 years, Sam holds
a Doctor of Ministry from Nazarene Theological Seminary and Master’s Degrees from
Duke University and Malone University. Sam loves the church and pastors and is eager
to find innovative as well as time-proven ways to resource Nazarene leaders. SCOPE
has a studio at the SCO district office in Grove City, OH, and is produced by Jill Barber,
Sam’s wife. SCOPE seeks to engage with pastors, leaders, church folks, and anyone
interested in pastoral issues in the Church of the Nazarene.
