  • Review: Murder On The Orient Express
    May 16 2024

When it comes to crime films your always looking out for the red herring and who actually has committed the murder, but what if it is everyone? When passengers board a train that is stuck by a snowstorm, a murder occurs, unbeknownst to the ones involved that a great detective, Hecule Poirot, is aboard and willing to conduct the case. A film that may seem a little outlandish to todays standards is a masterpiece when it comes to actually conducting interviews and keeping you in the dark until the very end. If you haven't seen this one yet make sure to do so before midnight because "the iron tongue of midnight has tolled 12".

  • Review: Memento
    May 9 2024

Have you ever forgotten something so badly that you tattooed it on your own skin? This is the realization for Leonard, an amateur sleuth who goes to a city to try and find his wife's murderer. The only downside is that he suffers from short term memory loss every hour or so. An amazing mystery film that showcases Guy Pierce in all the right ways with a non linear story that leaves the viewer with just as much questions as the character. A great mystery film to continue this month and is certain because "certainties, thats the memories you take for granted".

  • Review: Split
    May 2 2024

The mind is a powerful weapon especially if there are 24 other minds within. To kick of Mystery May we start with a slightly different mystery as Casey has been taken by a man who goes by many different names suffering from D.I.D. When one with super human abilities tries to break free its up to her to stop it. With a Oscar award deserving performance from James McAvoy and an overall really good story from M. Night Shyamalan its hard to not to love this film especially once you realize, "we are glorious".

  • Review: DragonBall Super Super Hero
    Apr 25 2024

Its time to finally check those power levels as we end anime movies with a franchise that has been near and dear to our hearts. When the Red Ribbon army resurfaces only Piccolo is around to stop a new threat joined by Gohan. A film that decided to take the animation in a CGI style works well for this film bringing the classic flashy and exciting fighting to the big screen. With this franchise standing the test of time its exciting to see what will happen next and we patiently wait because, "don't force it. will it".
