Surfing the internet in Jan 2000, I was amazed to learn that “what I was” had a name. “I’m a Dom; I’m a Sadist! And there’s a CLUB!!” I entered the St. Louis BDSM community that same month. Later I added “positive reaction whore” and "ethical Sadist" and “romantic Sadist”. Active since then in greater St. Louis and regionally, I have experience in Fire Play, VW Play, impact play, knives, single-tails, mindfuckery, etc. In 2008, I was fortunate to take a wonderful PITA sub for my own. An active community member since 2000, with more recent officer positions, I teach when asked because I enjoy sharing the knowledge and lessons-learned with eager audiences, both in-person and virtual. I also moderate several groups on Fetlife, including St Louis Fire.

I have been doing BDSM related stuff for around 10 years now, started with heavy D/s and slowly transitioned to incorporate other stuff. Fire always had a special kind of attraction for me. Fire is at the same time something extremely destructive but it has also been a protector since Ancient times. We use fire to be safe from wild animals and still the fire itself has an inherent danger. It's an unique combination that I haven't found with anything else.

Alessi, CelestialSabre, has been in the kink community as a whole for about six years, with the last two years being in the DFW community. They have taught classes at one of the local dungeons, Infliction Hall, on wax play, knives, sensation, and negotiations/informed consent while also providing one on one instruction and tastings for fire play. They have also conducted impact and wax play tastings at other communities events. Though they have played many roles in volunteering in the community, they currently run Chronically Kinky nights at Infliction, which is a night for neurodivergent and/or disabled folks to learn, experience, and enjoy each other.
