  • Summary

  • Hosted by Marco Ciappelli and Sean Martin One of the most peculiar traits of humans is the ability to augment our capabilities. Sure, standing on two feet, having dexterous hands, developing a language that allows us to communicate, and the ability to understand abstract concepts are all part of the equation. Still, it is the capacity to create tools and advance the technology that has allowed us to thrive on this planet — and maybe others. As much as we are good at applying scientific knowledge for practical purposes, what drives us to do so and why we do it is up for discussion.
