Nach Stationen als Assistent Daniel Barenboims an der Berliner Staatsoper sowie Kapellmeisterpositionen ebendort und an der Oper Stuttgart, steht der Dirigent jetzt an der Spitze eines der großen deutschen Häuser.

    Am kommenden Sonntag wird er mit Tannhäuser seine erste Wagner-Premiere in Frankfurt leiten, bereits seine dritte in dieser Saison nach Mozart und Ligeti. Darüber, über seine Pläne für die kommenden fünf Jahre und sicher noch einiges mehr wird Thomas Guggeis erzählen.
