Balancing the scales of justice and journalism, we remember that Ms Patterson, steadfast in her claim of innocence, deserves the same presumption as any of us would.

As we navigate this complex case without my usual partner in podcasting, Daniel, we're tapping into the pulse of social media, where Facebook's role in the saga reveals a narrative that's as much about community reactions as it is about the court.

We'll deconstruct the commentary, from the supportive to the disruptive, including our own experiences with online harassment due to our coverage of the case.

Amateur

I can’t listen to this. It has nothing to do with the story. The hosts speaks in an amateur tone about how she feels about negative reviews. Sounds like listening to a rambling phone call about the host’s feelings and it has nothing to do with the actual Erin Paterson alleged murders.
