About this listen

Welcome to the Meet Your Inner Child podcast! This is a new season of my podcast formally known as Talk with Rox. We’re diving into a fresh introduction to guide you on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and illumination. We’ll explore how reconnecting with your inner child is key to healing emotional wounds and creating the life you deserve. Along the way, we’ll also tap into personal and cultural references, the collective unconscious, and the nature of consciousness itself to deepen our understanding of this transformative process.

  • 42: We Live in A Simulation
    Jul 3 2025

In this episode, we explore how the inner child serves as the original operating system of your reality. If the outer world is a reflection of your internal programming, then healing your inner child may be the key to rewriting your entire simulation. I break down how subconscious beliefs, ancestral wounds, and nervous system safety shape the 3D matrix you live in—and how you can begin to shift it with intention, imagination, and reprogramming.

This is Neville’s exercise to assume yourself into the reality you want to be:

    • NEVILLE MEDITATION - PRAYER
      • Define your objective, get clear
      • Construct an event you believe you would encounter upon fulfillment
      • SATS and feel yourself into it until the fulfillment dominates the mind here and now
      • ASSUME it happened. It is done. Don’t worry about ‘the how’ and go about it
    • This is also known as SPEC
      • SELECT IT
      • PROJECT IT
      • EXPECT IT
      • COLLECT IT

You can read my book and get started on pulling up your OS and the glitches to the code of your simulation now

And if you're ready to hack the simulation…

  • 41: It Never Ends: Breaking Down the Drama from It Ends With Us with Leanne Newton and How "Not Good Wounds" Played a Part
    Jun 12 2025

Welcome back to Meet Your Inner Child. In this episode, I’m joined by Leanne Newton—U.K. solicitor and truth-finder extraordinaire—to unpack the legal chaos surrounding It Ends with Us, Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni, and the 8 million lawsuits flying around. (Yes, including the Taylor Swift angle. You know I had to!!!)

You might be wondering… “Rox, what does this drama have to do with inner child work?” Short answer? Everything.

At the core of this mess are classic “not good enough” wounds—unhealed ego patterns, self-sabotage, and projection playing out on the world stage. Together, Leanne and I break it all down: the NYT metadata drama (yep, she found it!), the smear campaigns, the power plays, and the psychological dynamics beneath it all.

If you love pop culture and want to understand how inner child wounds show up in real-world messiness… this one’s for you.

🔔 Of course, this case is ever evolving, and just yesterday there was a massive update in which Justin’s lawsuit was dismissed. His lawyer shared that they will amend the original lawsuit and put it out again shortly.

This is not a win for BL though she may feel that way. Essentially there is a desire from her side to claim SH without providing any evidence or support. That would be hugely problematic for the future of SH claims.

Stay tuned with Leanne and watch our chat together too here.

❤️ If you're a survivor of DV and feeling activated by the Blake/Baldoni content, here are a few gentle reminders:

    1. Your truth is valid.
No public narrative can erase your experience. If you feel dismissed or gaslit by what you're seeing — that reaction is real. You’re not “too sensitive.” You’re remembering.

    2. Limit your exposure.
It’s okay to mute, block, or log off. Then redirect inward:
What part of me is feeling triggered or unseen?
That part deserves care, not judgment.

    3. Ground your nervous system.
    → Hand on heart.
    → Inhale for 4, exhale for 6.
→ Say it out loud: “I am safe now. That was then. This is now.”
Even a few deep breaths can shift the spiral.

    4. Talk to someone who sees you.
You don’t have to carry it alone. Reach out to a friend, therapist, or DV support space where your truth is honored.

    5. Make space for joy + safety.
Watch something warm. Light a candle. Eat something comforting. Let your body remember: you are not in danger now. You’re allowed to feel good again.

    You’re not alone. You’re not crazy. You’re not overreacting. You’re healing 💛

    Take care of yourself !!

  • 40: Healing Gender Dysphoria Through Radical Self-Acceptance: A Conversation with Neeza Powers
    Jun 5 2025

This episode came from a place of genuine curiosity and compassion. I sat with Neeza Powers to explore his lived experience of gender dysphoria, transformation, and radical self-acceptance. What does it mean to be whole in a fragmented world? What if self-love could lead us back to our truest selves?

The soul is limitless— it holds both divine masculine and divine feminine energies. But the body? The body is specific. It carries the biology you chose for this lifetime. Why this body? Why this expression, especially if it's bringing you dysphoria? Your inner child may hold the key to this answer. And your highest self already knows.

I was honored to hold space for Neeza's raw, authentic, and open truth. I hope you enjoy hearing about his beautiful days of manhood and how one man healed gender dysphoria.

💡 Note: This isn’t a debate, it’s a soul story. One person’s path of healing, embodiment, and spiritual alignment. For some, this will resonate deeply. For others, it may feel complex or even uncomfortable. That’s okay. Listen with an open heart. Take what you need. Leave the rest.

As Neeza reminds us, “Be the best version of yourself.”

And if you're ready to deepen your own healing…
