By inserting the endoscope through small incisions or natural openings, surgeons can access hard-to-reach areas with a camera and specialized instruments, allowing for precise procedures like tumor removal, tissue sampling, and relieving pressure from conditions like hydrocephalus. This technique offers benefits such as shorter recovery times and less trauma compared to traditional open surgery.
