Welcome back to another episode on Let Kids Play Podcast! In this episode, we're joined by Tangee Peek, THEE Toddler Tutor! She loves God, her family, and her business. She is an educator at heart. She has held several titles in that capacity: Kdg, 1st, and 2nd grade teacher, Elem. Reading specialist, and Elem. administrator (curriculum and instruction). Her calling with this business is to make learning FUN for children and their parents by giving them accessible ways to do so. She’s created a line of Interactive Busy Books that introduce early learning concepts to toddlers! This is her contribution to the play-based learning culture and I can’t wait to share it!

Tangee believes play-based learning is children engaging in the exposure of learning concepts without even knowing it! They are immersed into an environment where exploration into learning takes place through hands-on experiences and interactions with other children or adults. For example, a child can learn to write letters by tracing them in sand with their fingers or using Play doh to make the shape of each letter! Play based learning is the fine interwoven art of combining what kids like to do and what they need to know.
