  • Happy Halloween everyone! This month we delve into political assassination that happened right here in Kansas City.     This month's cocktail:

    Whiskey Sour:

    1. 2 oz Whiskey (preferably a good bourbon)

    2. 3/4 oz Fresh lemon juice

    3. 1/2 oz Simple syrup (or more to taste)

    4. Ice

    5. Optional: Cherry and/or a slice of orange for garnish

    Instructions:

    1. Fill a shaker with ice cubes.

    2. Add whiskey, lemon juice, and simple syrup.

    3. Shake until chilled.

    4. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.

    5. Garnish with a cherry and/or a slice of orange.
