  • 11: Rise Above Resistance: The Life-Changing Magic of Taking Risks
    Jul 4 2025
Today we’re diving deep into something we all face, whether we realize it or not: Resistance. That invisible, heavy force that shows up when we’re about to do something meaningful, bold, or transformative. This episode was inspired by several powerful moments in my life — and a few life-changing books — The War of Art by Steven Pressfield, Who Not How by Dan Sullivan & Dr. Benjamin Hardy, and The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks. Each one has shifted the way I see resistance, fear, burnout, control, and what it really means to live in alignment. What is Resistance, Really? Resistance is sneaky. It doesn’t walk in loudly — it whispers. It shows up as procrastination, overthinking, self-doubt, or even well-meaning concern from loved ones. It’s the voice that says: You’re not ready. You’re not good enough. Now’s not the right time. Steven Pressfield puts it best: “Resistance will tell you anything to keep you from doing your work. It will perjure, fabricate; it will lie.” And what really hit me is this: “Most of us have two lives. The life we live, and the unlived life within us. Between the two stands resistance.” That quote gave me chills. Because I’ve felt that unlived life inside me. Have you? The Lie of "Tomorrow" Resistance loves the word tomorrow. It tells us to wait for the “perfect time.” But let’s be honest — that time rarely comes. Whether it’s launching your business, writing your story, quitting a job, or asking for help — if you're always waiting, you're feeding resistance. My Personal Wake-Up Call I learned the cost of resistance the hard way. I burned out. Completely. I was doing everything — building a business, raising kids, managing a household — trying to prove I could handle it all. Until one night, I fell asleep on the couch… and woke up to a kitchen full of smoke. That night could’ve ended differently. But it didn’t. I woke up. And maybe it happened so I could share this with you. To remind you: burnout is not a badge of honor. After that, I knew something had to change. I started asking for help. I hired my first team member at Freedom Culture. And yes, it was terrifying. But it was also the best decision I ever made. Because you don’t have to do it all alone. Releasing Control + Letting Others In Here’s the truth most of us don’t talk about: a cluttered, chaotic space — emotionally or physically — impacts us more than we realize. Even when we think we’re coping, the mess drains us in the background. And often, it’s not about the task itself — it’s about control. We resist help because we fear losing control. Because we’ve been taught that independence means doing it all ourselves. But accepting help isn’t weakness. It’s wisdom. It’s leadership. It’s realizing that while I can do the dishes… they’re not in my zone of genius. And The Big Leap taught me this: I was meant to do work that lights me up. That fills me. That creates impact. Not just work that keeps me busy. So, I let go. I asked for help. I stopped folding towels "the right way." I stopped equating control with value. And I started focusing on the work I was truly meant to do. Fear as a Compass Fear isn’t the enemy — it’s a compass. When we feel that fear, that resistance, it usually means we’re onto something important. So instead of fighting it, I started leaning into it. In 2019, I turned 40 and booked a solo trip to Paris. I needed space — from the noise, the pressure, the roles I was constantly performing. That trip changed me. I realized: I wasn’t just overwhelmed — I was resisting my own power. So I made the bold decision to quit my job. No savings. No clear plan. Just faith… and six little eyes watching me, wondering: What’s mom going to do now? And you know what? I felt more alive than I ever had. The Power of “Who Not How” That leap led me to Who Not How — a book that shifted my perspective again. I stopped asking, “How can I do this?” and started asking, “Who can help me do this?” That one mindset shift helped me grow my business, build a team, and find joy in collaboration. And guess what? The more I let others in — the more I released the guilt — the more space I had to create. Your Action Steps: Here’s what I want you to do after this episode: Journal: Where is resistance showing up in your life? Reflect: What tasks are you holding onto that drain you, not grow you? Ask: What would it look like to release control and accept support? Act: Take one inspired, risky step today — no matter how small. Book Recommendations Mentioned: The War of Art by Steven Pressfield Who Not How by Dan Sullivan & Dr. Benjamin Hardy The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks Final Thoughts: Have you ever worked a job you didn’t love? Felt disconnected from the version of yourself you dreamed of becoming? That’s resistance. And the only way through it… is through it. So take the risk. Let fear ride ...

  • 10: Confidence to Create: Igniting Your Inner Bravery & Creativity
    Jul 27 2024
Embracing the Confidence to Create: Igniting Your Inner Bravery and Creativity Hello freedom culture aficionados! Today, I am diving into a topic that’s close to my heart: having the confidence to create and nurturing the bravery that brings out our inner creativity. I’m thrilled to share insights on building the confidence to create the life and work you truly desire. Today, we’ll delve into personal stories, mindsets, and actionable tips to help you unleash your inner creativity and bravery. Discovering Entrepreneurship When I was in high school, the idea of becoming an entrepreneur seemed foreign—something only accessible to those with family businesses or unique skills. It wasn’t until I met my first mentor at 30 that my perspective changed. This mentor introduced me to concepts like creating your own economy, thinking for yourself, and taking responsibility for your choices. These ideas were revolutionary for me, setting me on a path toward entrepreneurship. The Power of Mindset Often, we focus so much on our limitations that we overlook the possibilities within our reach. My mentor’s teachings emphasized the importance of looking beyond restrictions and creating within the boundaries we have. One key takeaway was the need to shift our mindset from seeing obstacles to recognizing opportunities for innovation and creation. Igniting Creativity with Confidence A recurring theme in my conversations with others is overcoming imposter syndrome—a term that wasn’t even in my vocabulary when I started my entrepreneurial journey. Many of us feel that our unique talents and perspectives aren’t valuable, but that’s far from the truth. The simple act of starting this podcast was a leap of faith for me, driven by the belief that my voice could possibly make a positive impact on someone's life. If I’d let fear and self-doubt take over, I wouldn’t be here today, sharing my experiences and insights. Remember, not everyone may resonate with your message, but those who need to hear it will find it valuable. Finding Your Creative Spark Creativity isn’t limited to traditional arts like painting or drawing. It’s the ability to imagine and bring something new into existence. As children, we excel at creating imaginary worlds, but we often lose this skill as we grow older. However, it’s never too late to reignite that spark. Whether it’s painting, journaling, or any other hobby, giving ourselves permission to explore and play can open up a world of possibilities. One powerful quote I recently created for my newsletter, Freedom Fridays, summarizes this perfectly: “When our bravery ignites our creativity, the light within us projects our confidence onto the canvas of our lives.” This philosophy encourages us to be brave in our creative endeavors, trusting that our inner light will guide us to share our unique gifts with the world. Turning Passions into Actions If you believe you aren’t creative, think again. Everyone has a creative side waiting to be unleashed. For years, I believed I lacked creativity because I didn’t excel in traditional artistic endeavors. However, I discovered that creativity manifests in various ways, including problem-solving skills and innovative thinking. Start by identifying the things that light you up. What hobbies or interests bring you joy? Take small steps to incorporate these activities into your daily life. Perhaps there are local groups or online classes that can help you nurture these passions. Creating Your Ideal Life Building confidence and creativity isn’t limited to business—it applies to life as well. Ask yourself if you’re truly happy with your current situation. If not, explore ways to introduce more joy and passion into your daily routine. This could involve taking up a new hobby, volunteering, or even starting a side hustle that aligns with your interests. Focus on the “What,” Not the “How” When embarking on a new venture, it’s easy to get bogged down by the "how" of making it all happen. Instead, focus on the "what"—what do you want to achieve? Once you have a clear understanding of your goals and passions, the path to achieving them will start to reveal itself. Trust that your environment and the universe will support your efforts. Conclusion The journey of building confidence and creativity is ongoing. Surround yourself with supportive individuals, network with like-minded people, and don’t be afraid to ask for help. Whether through my courses, discovery calls, or simply following my content, I’m here to support you every step of the way. Remember, “someday” isn’t a day of the week. Take actionable steps toward your goals today. Write them down, create a timeline, and work towards them. Happiness and creativity aren’t destinations to be reached; they are practices to be incorporated into our daily lives. Thank you for being part of the Freedom Culture community. I’m excited to see what you create ...

  • 9: Check Your Vision...Is Your Future 20/20?
    Jul 13 2024
Today, we're diving deep into another topic that's close to my heart: checking your vision. And no, I'm not talking about your eyeglasses or contacts. We're exploring your vision for life, what you genuinely desire, and how you're going to make it happen. Let's get into it! Visioning and Manifesting: More Than Just Woo-Woo Every time I think about visioning and manifesting, I encounter skeptics who believe you can't visualize things into existence. I 100% disagree! Manifesting isn't just wishful thinking; it's about focusing your energy and attention on what you want, turning thoughts into reality. So, if you're skeptical, hang tight. I'm here to explain. Do You Know What You Want? Most people wander through life without a clear idea of what they want. If you do know, congratulations – you're ahead of the curve! But for many, figuring this out is a challenge. Next time you're chatting with someone, ask them about their life goals. You might be surprised at how few have a concrete answer, let alone have written it down. The Power of Writing It Down Bob Proctor famously said that most people don't write down what they want. And that's a problem. Putting your dreams into words or images brings you closer to achieving them. It might feel like magic, but it's rooted in reality. When you have a direction, you're more likely to end up somewhere meaningful. Creating a Vision Board A vision board is a powerful tool to visualize your goals. Years ago, I made my first vision board, and while I don't remember everything on it, I know I achieved many of those goals. My second vision board was even more successful, with about 80% of the items checked off. From laughter and dancing to specific business achievements, seeing these images daily helped manifest them into reality. How to Make Your Vision Board Find a Board: It can be a poster board, a piece of paper, or even digital. Gather Images: Look online or flip through magazines. Choose images that resonate with your goals – whether it’s the exact car you want or a happy couple symbolizing relationship goals. Add Words: Pick powerful words that represent your focus for the year, like freedom, laughter, travel, or abundance. Place It Where You'll See It: Your vision board needs to be in your sight daily – on your wall, computer screen, or phone. Here is the link to my vision board that I made on Canva…you can always use a blank template or use this one and just replace the images and text :) Check Out My Vision Board for 2024 Here The Steps to Manifestation Ask: Know what you want and ask for it. This is where your vision board comes in. Believe: Truly believe you deserve what you're asking for. Without belief, manifestation is unlikely. Receive: Be open to receiving your desires. Often, this is the hardest part. But by asking and believing, you're already setting the stage for receiving. The Science Behind Visioning Many people dismiss visioning and manifesting as mere superstition, but there's scientific evidence to support these practices. Visualization activates the neural pathways involved in the physical act of achieving your goals. When you visualize your success, your brain trains itself to think and behave in ways that align with that vision. Research shows that mental practices are almost as effective as true physical practice. When we visualize an action, we stimulate the same brain regions as when we actually perform that action. So, when you visualize yourself succeeding, you are preparing your brain for success. The Role of Emotions Emotions play a crucial role in manifestation. When you feel positive emotions about your goals, you create a powerful energy that attracts those outcomes. The key is to align your emotions with your desires. If you want financial abundance, feel gratitude for the wealth you already have, no matter how small. This gratitude creates a vibrational match for more abundance to come into your life. Overcoming Limiting Beliefs Limiting beliefs can sabotage your efforts to manifest your dreams. These are deeply ingrained thoughts that tell you what you can't do, be, or have. Common limiting beliefs include: "I'm not good enough." "I don't deserve success." "There's not enough to go around." Identifying and overcoming these beliefs is essential. Challenge them by asking yourself if they are true. Replace them with empowering beliefs, such as "I am worthy of success," "I deserve happiness," and "There is abundance for everyone." Taking Inspired Action Manifestation is not just about thinking and feeling; it also requires action. Taking inspired action means acting on the ideas and opportunities that come your way. It's about moving towards your goals with confidence and determination. Even small steps can lead to significant progress. Remember, the universe responds to your actions. When you show that you're serious about your dreams, the universe will support you in making them a reality. Real-Life Success ...

  • 7: Two Weeks Notice, Are You Ready To Give It?
    May 31 2024
Are you ready to make that leap? Buckle up because today, we’re diving deep into the intriguing and often nerve-wracking topic of giving your two weeks' notice. Inspired by Amy Porterfield's book, "Two Weeks Notice," let’s evaluate happiness in your job and contemplate your decisions. Question Your Happiness: Let's get real for a moment—how stoked are you about your job? I'm not just talking about the paycheck or the perks. It's about digging deep and asking yourself if your work truly lights a fire inside you. Sometimes, being okay with your job isn't enough. It's about figuring out what really makes you thrive Amy Porterfield’s book highlights that a staggering 73% of employees are considering leaving their jobs. Are you one of them? If you are, keep reading. If you’re not and think, “I’m happy,” I challenge you to define what happiness means to you. Are you truly content with the work you do? or is there something more you want to do or be? I’m curious about your definition of happiness, and I want you to be genuinely happy. If you're nodding along, you're on the right track. Take the time to pinpoint what aspects of your work genuinely make you feel alive and fulfilled. Now, let’s dive into some stats, particularly about women in the workforce. Amy’s book sheds light on some eye-opening figures. For instance, women are paid just 82 cents for every dollar their male colleagues earn. Where’s the other 18%? We’re equally capable, so when do we get our due? Furthermore, men are promoted at 30% higher rates than women in early career stages. This trend reveals a persistent gender bias that keeps many women from leadership roles. The “Great Resignation” is a term you might have heard, describing the wave of people leaving their jobs post-pandemic. Many discovered a preference for working from home, and when asked to return to the office, they opted out. This shift signifies a broader realization: people want work that aligns with their values and lifestyles. Nearly half of Americans fear being laid off within the next year, a statistic that highlights job insecurity. This insecurity is why I believe in empowering individuals to take control of their careers. As someone who has been through the cycle of being hired, fired, and laid off, I understand the lack of security in traditional employment. This realization pushed me towards entrepreneurship, and I haven’t looked back since. Consider this: women make up 47.7% of the global workforce but hold only 6.4% of CEO roles at S&P 500 companies. Women of color face even more significant disparities, earning as little as 71 cents for every dollar earned by their white male colleagues. Additionally, 84% of millennials report burnout at their current jobs. These statistics underline the systemic issues that drive many women out of the workforce and into entrepreneurship. Reflecting on these stats, it’s no wonder so many are considering a change. Women in history have paved the way for us, fighting for the rights and opportunities we have today. Not too long ago, women couldn’t even apply for a business loan without a man’s signature. We owe our current freedoms to those trailblazers. If you’re still listening, you’re likely contemplating a change. Amy Porterfield’s book, "Two Weeks Notice," is a fantastic resource if you’re ready to explore new opportunities. She guides you through the process, from planning your exit to what to do afterward. When I read her book, I was at a crossroads, managing two in-person service businesses and yearning for the online world. Her insights were invaluable, helping me prepare for my leap. The Power of Choice: Your career isn't a script handed to you; it's an epic adventure where you're the hero. Whether you're contemplating a daring move like saying "peace out" to your current gig or you're already rocking the boat with a new business idea, every decision you make shapes your story. It's all about taking charge and steering your professional life in the direction that screams "this is me!" Don't let anyone else write your story. Embrace the power you have to make bold moves, even if they seem wild to others. If you’re afraid to bet on yourself, remember that you’ve already shown up for yourself countless times. Becoming an entrepreneur is about leveraging that evidence to fuel your faith in your abilities. When I quit my job in 2019, the feeling of freedom was unparalleled. I felt like the world was at my feet, and I embraced the opportunity to shape my future. Was it scary? Absolutely. But I didn’t let fear override my desire for a fulfilling life. If you’re thinking about quitting your job, remember that it’s your choice. It’s powerful to decide your path rather than waiting for someone else to dictate it. Reflect on your wins and accomplishments—they’ve led you to this moment. If you're ready for change, start by clarifying your idea and planning your steps ...

  • 6: Are You Enough?
    May 17 2024
Today, I'm thrilled to dive into one of the most profound questions we can ask ourselves: Are you enough? This concept is pervasive in our society and culture, and it can shape our lives in ways we might not even realize. Let’s explore what it truly means to be enough and how we can reconcile this idea with our desires for growth and fulfillment. Recently, I gave a talk at a women's event about this and here’s what I said. You are enough. You are enough. Are you though? Right now, I think, of course, I'm a little too much, actually. You are enough. When I hear this expression, you are enough, it feels so incomplete. Enough for who? Enough for you? Enough for me? Enough for what? Right? If you are enough, period, then there's nothing else you need to do or be. Boring. Like how boring would it be to be enough and to just stop? I think that I may interpret this just a little bit differently. While it's an endearing sentiment, I believe that it has been the cause of a lot of inaction. I'm sure what's meant when this is said is, accept yourself as you are, and although I believe that we must do that, I have a really hard time just leaving it at that. You are enough to me means that who you are, what you are, and the fact that you are is enough, of course. But, now here's where I take it to the next level. As human beings, we are designed to expand. There is a reason we have been given this amazing spirit and brain, and the fascinating capacity to imagine a world beyond our current reality. There's a reason that we can see things not just as they are, but how we can imagine them to be. If we can do all that, it doesn't make sense to me to simply say that what we are is enough. Instead, I'd like to think of it this way. You are enough right now to meet the challenges that lay before you in becoming that version of yourself that you have imagined. Let me say that again. You are enough right now to meet the challenges that lay before you in becoming that version of yourself that you have imagined. How about that? So yes, you sitting here right now listening to this are enough. The person that you are, what lights you up, the spirit that you have nurtured, you are enough. You have everything that you need inside you right now in this moment to be and do anything that you want to do. And if you're not thinking that's true right now, I want to challenge you because what you may have just thought is, yeah, okay, but I want to do something that I don't quite know how to do or know how to make happen for myself. I'm not there yet, and if you're feeling that, I understand that feeling very well, but it actually doesn't matter. It wholeheartedly doesn't matter at all that you don't know how to do it. The only thing that is important to note is that you want it. Do you want it? Do you know what it is, what it will feel like, how it will impact your life when you get it, when you achieve it, when you can touch it, whatever it is? When you get really clear on what it is that you're imagining often, what it is that you desire and often think about, maybe even subconsciously, start paying more attention to these ideas instead of brushing them off as impossibilities. You thought of it for yourself for a reason, it came into your realm intentionally, and now it is time to take all that you are and move towards that desire. So now, where does confidence come in? Because that's what we told you I was going to talk about, right? I believe passionately that progress equals confidence. So when we sit with the idea of we are enough, period, the inaction doesn't make us feel like we are enough. It actually makes us feel like we will never be enough. Because we're not making progress. We are not moving the needle. But what if we believed we are enough and? We are enough and I can and I will expand. I can learn more. I can be more. I can do more. Now for people who are already doing all the things, you're probably hearing that and thinking I'm exhausted. I ain't doing nothing more realistically. And I hear you. I feel that too. That exhaustion from running around from burnout, from living in a state of overwhelm — that is the true dream killer. Now it's time to start swapping. So swap out the things that are not allowing us to make progress. Trade the mundane for the joy. What is making up my day? How can I start doing things that really light me up so I can make progress in them and ride that momentum all the way until I feel the confidence? As we get clearer on our desires and on what we want to spend our time doing, we start to move towards those ideas. We start to move our time towards learning about them and surrounding ourselves with people that share like minded ideas about the future. Probably like many of you right now. So if progress can bring you confidence, how can I make more progress? What's next for me to do, to be, to learn? And if progress equals confidence, then what does ...

  • 5: Is There a Business In You?
    Apr 18 2024
Have you ever pondered on the idea of starting your own business? You feel unhappy in your current employment and you feel that you’re not getting the sense of freedom that entrepreneurs are experiencing? Then this episode is tailor-made for you. But even if you haven't considered it, just read on because you may find yourself wanting to in the end or atleast get an idea of how to start from scratch.. To those of you who are new here, entrepreneurship has been a topic that’s near and dear to my heart. I have a couple of businesses that I manage myself and so far, I have enjoyed the flexibility that they afford me to be there for my kids whenever they need me. That's why I'm asking you this question because I want for you to be able to experience the same freedom that can come with starting your own thing and creating your own economy. Exploring Entrepreneurship “Is there a business in me?” is a fundamental question you have to ask yourself first. It’s a thought-provoking inquiry, isn't it? Sometimes, we harbor untapped potential without even realizing it and that’s the reason I’m here. I’m gonna help you unearth those hidden gems lurking within your mind. Over the years, I've immersed myself in the world of online entrepreneurship, witnessing firsthand the diverse array of businesses people have created. From subscription boxes filled with self-care goodies to online guitar lessons, the possibilities are endless. And let me tell you, the online space is buzzing with energy and innovation. Finding Your Niche Now, let's turn the spotlight on you. Are you intrigued by the online realm? If so, you're in luck because there are countless avenues waiting to be explored. Whether you're transitioning from a traditional brick-and-mortar setup or diving into entrepreneurship for the first time, the online arena offers unparalleled opportunities for growth and expansion. But here's the thing: You don't need to be a seasoned expert to make waves in the online world. In fact, you only need to be a few steps ahead of your audience to provide value and guidance. That's the beauty of sharing your knowledge and experiences – it's a journey of continuous learning and growth. So, what's your unique selling proposition? What sets you apart from the crowd? What can you offer? What is something that people come to you for naturally? What area of your business or of your life do you feel that you could be qualified to do or to teach? When I say qualified, again, you don’t need to be an expert at it. You just have to be 10 percent ahead to be able to teach somebody something that you've just done. These are the questions we'll delve into as we unravel the layers of your entrepreneurial spirit. Maybe you have a knack for solving a particular problem or a passion for a niche topic. Whatever it may be, there's an audience out there eagerly awaiting your insights and expertise. Start your Entrepreneurial Journey Here I’m often asked the question about how I do all the things that I’m doing and to be honest, most of the time I have no idea but I just do them. That’s something people come to me for advice and perhaps I could even develop a course around it, focusing on maximizing productivity without burning out. Sometimes, we just really don’t realize how good we are at certain things. We might overlook past accomplishments or passions that could actually be turned into something more, even a business opportunity. If you've already succeeded at something, you have the expertise to teach others. Simply by having experienced it firsthand, you've gained valuable insights. Whether it works out or not, taking action puts you ahead of those who haven't even begun. But what if you haven't done something and gotten results yourself? — there’s still a business if you've helped someone in achieving results. Even if you haven't accomplished it yourself, you might possess a talent for guiding others in mastering a particular skill or task. One great tool in doing this would be an online platform like Kajabi. As we embark on this entrepreneurial journey, let's not forget that in-person service-based businesses have their merits and often come with limitations.Using Kajabi is a great strategy where you can create and sell courses, reaching a global audience from the comfort of your home. I’m also using this for my courses, it’s got everything and it’s been the easiest to learn. If you want to know how you can use it for your business, just drop me a comment and I’ll guide you through it. Create a Life of Freedom and Fulfillment Entrepreneurship isn't just about financial gain – it's about creating a life of freedom and fulfillment. For me, it was the flexibility to prioritize family commitments while pursuing my passions. And trust me, if I can do it, so can you. It's all about taking that leap of faith and betting on yourself. Personally, it’s ...

    Apr 4 2024
Hello, hello. Welcome back to another episode of the Freedom Culture Podcast. Today we are talking all about confidence. How to get it, how to keep it, and how to use it to your advantage. So this episode is how to generate ultimate confidence. Let's dive in. The first thing I want to focus on is how can we free ourselves from thinking about what other people think about us. So the number one way to drain your confidence, I would say, is to compare yourself to other people. You know, going on Instagram or social media or wherever and looking at what other people are doing and internalizing that as something that you aren't doing yet or you're looking at an ideal and sort of measuring yourself against that. So one of the books I've been reading lately is called The Gap and the Gain. And that's really all it talks about, is how to live in the gain, not in the gap. And the gap refers to comparing yourself against an ideal as opposed to, um, and sorry, measuring yourself against an ideal as opposed to measuring yourself against what's actually happening, and the progress that you've actually made. And then of course, living in the gain would be focusing on the progress, the gains that you're making every day and really focusing on that. So I wanted to just touch, on a few points that this book has introduced to me and I'm loving this book. So this book is by, Dan Sullivan with Dr. Benjamin Hardy. So one of the ways is to measure your own progress, but using this little tool called WINS. So essentially every day you're going to write down three WINS that you had today and then write down three WINS that you'd like to have tomorrow. So let's talk about how important it is every single day for you to be tracking your WINS and think about what that could actually look like six months from now, 90 days from now, even, what kind of difference do you think that could make for you? Because let me just say from the book, so, It states that writing down three wins daily is one of the most effective ways to stay out of what they call the gap. You feel like you're always winning and making progress. It keeps you in a state of momentum and confidence. Well, I absolutely love that. That's the state that I want to live in. I don't know about you. But measuring your own progress is the best way for you to do that. It's also the best way for you to, um, stay out of that comparison. So, if we're focused on ourselves and what we're doing, the accomplishments that we're making, the wins that we're having every day, it makes very little time for us to be, uh, focused on what other people are doing, or what other people might think of us. And one of the other things that kind of go hand in hand with that is making sure that when we're asking people for advice, we're actually asking people who, can really give advice on a specific topic that we're asking them about. So there's nothing worse than asking somebody to weigh in on something they don't know anything about. And that can sometimes lead to breaking a bit of our confidence because we are leaning on someone that maybe doesn't have the experience or the knowledge to really be able to give us good advice on the subject. But we, we take it anyway. Sometimes it's not what it could be. So I hope you understand what that kind of means. But anyway. Let's move on to the next one. So measuring backwards, let's take note of that. Measuring your wins daily, super important and I think can help us to focus more on ourselves and less on what other people are doing. So another way, of course, to increase your confidence, and I think this is pretty obvious, but sometimes we don't really pay attention to these things, uh, is to improve your self talk. So how important do you think it is for you to be telling yourself a good story about yourself every day? So what is that story that's playing over and over again in your mind that you're telling yourself about you? About who you are, about what you're good at or not good at, about what the things are that you're doing every day, and how it's having an impact. So if our self talk is really negative, or if we catch ourselves being really negative, that's something we can definitely work on and change. I mean, no one can change our self talk but us, and self talk is one of the fastest and easiest way to really, make any kind of change towards having confidence. I know I've caught myself many times, like, uh, Steph, like, what are you doing? Sometimes that's just a matter of, hey, checking in, like, hey, wait a minute. You got to do something different here. But definitely I can be really hard on myself, and I think we all have gotten to this sort of stage of, giving ourselves less grace than we really need. So I think it's important we check in on this. So if this is your cue, if you're hearing this, maybe it's for a reason, like, let's check in with what you're really telling yourself every day. Um, and what kind of words you're using too. So...
