    Send us a text

My dad always said, “There are Yes People and No People.” And he was right.
The Yes People, the ones who take a chance on you, can change everything. I’ve been lucky to meet a few, and their belief in me shaped the path I’m on today. I wrote about those moments, and the power of saying yes. In this episode, I talk through a few personal examples of yes people that shaped my career, and a few examples of how I've found yes people in my personal life to help with everything from getting an upgraded hotel room to lowering that cable bill.

  • Lead with Your Flaws
    May 19 2023

I’ve seen so many people lately feel like they’re not adding up to enough.

In a world full of social media, where you see perfect business men and women bragging on their career, travel, their business, 10k months, being a parent, etc. its easy to feel like we’re not enough, or we lack certain skillsets, don’t have as many positive qualities as others.

I’ve found that ignoring an insecurity, or something I want to be better at only hinders me. You’d be surprised at how when you admit you want to work on something, people will appear out of the woodworks to want to help you.

In this episode, I cover the do's and don'ts of leading with your flaws to help you grow toward your path to success!

  • The Difficult Path
    Apr 2 2023

    Send us a text

There’s a quote, difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations. In life, we get to choose our path. Often times I think the difficult path is glorified. In our society we tend to praise people with tough upbringings and glorify the hard or negative stories. On the flipside, we look down upon the “easy” path. Which I don’t like, because sometimes things are just aligned, it feels easy and right. And I do want to acknowledge that life can be both, and to me, that’s just life.

And while I do think the difficult path has mostly allowed me growth, and strength. What I’m most thankful for is in the difficult times, I’m allowed the chance to really prove myself, show what I got, and handle things. That where the promotions have come at work, where the rewards have come, better relationships, etc.

So, in this episode, let’s talk about the difficult path. I want to dive into this way of thinking, and talk through the ways you can shine in the face of adversity and use it to your advantage.

  • How to Live a Multi-Dimensional Life
    Jan 23 2023

    Send us a text

In writing, an author calls a character who doesn’t have an arc through the story, one-dimensional. Its defined as a character who is the same at the beginning as they are at the end. Is that how you want to be described? Isn’t the whole point of life to change and learn and grow, have ups and downs, and be different at the end than we were at the beginning? It can feel so engrained in us that we have to define people as one thing. We define people as their job, as them being a parent, or we define someone by their likes or dislikes. When really, we’re all multi-dimensional and we should be recognized for it. So if you feel like you’ve lost parts of yourself, or have become too one-dimensional, how do you take the step back into becoming the multi-dimensional person, with lots of likes and interests that you were meant to be?
