  • In the 118th episode of the Extra Buttery podcast, Jason and Robert’s attempt at the cold open begins with the writers’ strike and somehow ends up reminiscing about their youth. Anyway, they open with SUCCESSION (4:05) and why Tom Wambsgams was tabbed to win from the very beginning, and kick off the movies segment with BLACKBERRY (16:38), a Canadian hit about a Canadian has-been. It’s a lot better than FAST X (26:54), which has forced Jason to abandon his fandom for the “family.” Fortunately, things look up with SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE (43:19) and GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3 (50:51).
