Hope you enjoy episode 3 of the Dust and Marble podcast. While this is a podcast that will cover many areas of that have come to define history, there will be some episodes (like this one) that will be more dialed in to one specific topic. This one is very much focused on the stories of Cain & Abel as well as Noah from a literary-appreciation standpoint. 

As always, this podcast does not set out to prove things one way or another but to offer up some of the highly sophisticated story elements found in these ancient stories.

My name is Dan, and this is a new independently produced podcast directed towards telling stories in a long-form, primarily audio-only narrative format of world history from biblical and non-biblical accounts. My area of intrigue is in the Late Bronze Age leading into the Early Roman Empire. This first episode is an introduction to myself, some of the origins of why I decided to create this podcast, and a few stories to lead into this first season.

Though it will be a walk through some of the stories of the Hebrew Bible primarily, it will branch off into many areas of the world both to provide context and for the sake of entertainment and interest. Please feel welcome to come along and enjoy the journey with me, as well as a few guests.
