    This week was all about decisions for myself and a few people I spoke with. for me it was holding a boundary for my protection. Others were what they chose for themselves. When someone is unhappy with their life, do they look back to see how they got there? Saw the choices they made?

    I believe you can change your circumstance at any moment if you so choose. Only you have the power to make changes in your life.

    So you have changes you want in your life, career, relationships. Now what? I break down the thinking and conviction to stay focused on making it a reality.

    You have to be comfortable with being uncomfortable as you grow and let yourself change to create a new reality. It isn't always easy to say no to the life you were comfortable in. If you can question, if this decision will bring you closer or further away from where you want to be? That one thought could help you say yes or no.

    You may have people around you upset by how you are growing, and they let you know. Having the understanding of why this is good, will help you not be defeated when you hear they aren't happy about it. They don't need to know why you are choosing this, but you do.

    You can't bring your old self into a new life, you have to grow in thinking and habits to become that new person.

  • Are You Fulfilled in Life?

    Our focus in life changes as we go through our life. If we get lost in the day to day walk of life we may just be going on auto pilot. Why?

    I know we can get distracted by our list of things to do and years go by not realizing we are lost in our life. It's time to look at our life and take control again. Ask yourself some questions and figure out what you really want. What's important to you.

    Will the path your on take you to where you want? That only works if you know what you want.

    Burnout is from doing the work without any fulfillment. Doing the same action expecting different results won't work.

  • Stinky Attitude

    My dog got sprayed by a skunk this week. As I'm cleaning and trying to get rid of the smell I started thinking of my stinky attitude I had about all the cleaning I had to do. I realized that a stinky attitude has the same lingering effect that a skunk smell has, it just doesn't burn the nose.

    With the help of an old book The Slight Edge, I go through the idea of making small adjustment by understanding your own philosophy you want for your life. We choose how our life works by the small decisions we make.

    Take control back in your life by being aware of your attitude through the day. By reframing your thinking instead of letting yourself getting smellier you choose to freshen up your perspective and you freshen up your thinking.

  • Celebrating Accomplishments

    With the 4th of July I had thoughts of celebrating. I realized I have a struggle with celebrating myself and my accomplishments. Setting goals and the rewards for achieving them is a new thing for me, and I suck at it. I hit a goal in January, I am just now planning my celebration trip for it.

    Sitting back and looking at what has been accomplished in my life without any fanfare. I need to learn to reward myself for my hard work, dedication, and sometimes sacrifice for a job well done.

    Learning new things and becoming the person you need to be, is a job in itself. It is needed to hit a new goal, take on a new step in your career. You can't achieve new steps with the knowledge you have to get where you are now. You must go deeper and increase your information to be ready for that next step. Lets dive into How to get there.

  • The Hustle Mentality Downfall
    Jun 23 2025

    I am sharing my change from thriving on the hustle mentality to the downfall of my health because I didn't know when to stop it. No one talks about the time you should enjoy your success from the hustle. Now in my experience life came up and knocked me down pretty hard before my body gave out, from this I have learned why constant hustle isn't sustainable.

    The hustle is important to achieve goals that you can only achieve through the blast of focus and hard work. I personally believe we are being taught the nonstop charging ahead without stopping. Have you thought of sprinters? They give full energy for short distances. This can be the key to charging ahead, but then make your growth solid. You don't want a house of cards, make it solid.

    I see to many people have the same issues with a depleted body because of the none stop work ethic. We need to find a way to recharge, let your body recover, and then focus again.
