Days of Franchise Past: The Continuity of the X-Men Film Franchise

  • Summary

  • For this episode of From Duck Till Dark: Outside the Marvel Studios, host and producer George Sirois takes us back to FanExpo STL, where he gave his second pop culture-based presentation at any convention. This was a topic he had been picking at for the past three years, one that is very near and dear to his heart. As a fan of the 20th Century Fox X-Men films, he had heard many fans objecting to the loose continuity compared to the tightly woven MCU, and he was finally able to address all the continuity issues at once and discuss how the films are not as disconnected as people think. Not even as much as the filmmakers themselves thought.
