    Jun 23 2025

Why do kids need validation? That's like asking why do people need social media to show likes or compliments.

The teens today, want to be seen, heard, felt and alive.

It’s essential to create a supportive environment that encourages healthier forms of validation. Validation goes beyond mere praise; it’s about acknowledging their feelings, experiences, and individuality. I got ten powerful ways to create a healthier sense of validation for your teen.

    1. Listen Actively

    2. Encourage Self-Expression

  • It's Summer But...
    Jun 18 2025

It's summer, but we still have to prepare these kids from the next school year. It's summer but we know we have to work but these kids also want something fun to do. It's summer, but the orange man is still president and he's doing things to make homes a bit unsure right now. It's summer, but your job can't have all your time so it's really about finding that balance that's going to make everyone feel like they're included.

The only summer break that a lot of parents have is Sundays of the week. It's really hard to adult and show your child. A great time if the monies not flowing in like it used to. And in a lot of households, that's the case right now. So in this episode, I discussed what I'm doing this summer. How maintaining this summer and how I prevent myself for losing my mind.

  • School Therapists Should Be Mandatory
    Jun 11 2025

Kids have needs and things happen so we have school nurses.

Kids make messes and have accidents so we have school janitors.

Kids like to play during the day so after lunch we allow them recess.

Kids in America shoot up schools and bully other students at a higher rate compared to other countries, so why don't we have Therapists in school?

Its as if thats not a good enough reason to help prevent the emotional and physical issues kids face to put therapists in place.

Todays, episode is about why I think it should be mandatory.

  • Teens Need Good Decision Making Skills
    Jun 2 2025

That's what I call Critical Thinking... A skill that all humans need for their betterment but don't always use. In most work spaces even though technology is getting a lot of human jobs up and out of here... People who can help in companies with Team or Employee Critical Thinking skills will have a job.

Does your teen know how to make good decisions?

Do you give your teen scenarios to hypothetically decide on?
