  • The Conversations with Car Dealers Show is an in depth dive into the personal stories of the people on the front lines building successful car dealerships. If you are in any part of the car business you are going to want to stay tuned to see what is possible. Regular people arising from the lowest rungs on the ladder at the dealership, car wash attendant, service helper, greeter, to become powerhouses in the industry. Many of them rising to Dealer Principal, some even with multiple locations generating billions of dollars in revenue. In each episode we take a personal journey with a single person who was key in building a successful dealership and find out what happened to get them to where they are today. What is the story behind the story… what were their greatest success stories and biggest failures as told directly by them to you. And what they are doing now in their business that's working, and what's not, and much more. My name is Zane Myers and over the last 30+ years, I’ve built and grown multiple businesses in various industries and provided key funding that resulted in establishing multiple car dealerships. The road to success in the car business is not an easy one which requires tenacity, ingenuity, people skills, financial skills, long hours, and total dedication. I am so excited to take this journey with you talking to these very fascinating people who have made it in this very challenging business.

    James Peck was born in Oak Park Illinois and spent the first 30 years of his life in Elmhurst, Illinois. He then moved to beautiful Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and has been there for the last 35 years. 

    Jim has been in the auto dealership business since he was 16 years old. Thirty-five years ago, Jim bought a very small struggling Ford dealership in Clinton, Wisconsin, turned it around, and has been building that business since.

    Justin is the founder of Accelerate Auto Group and the online platform FAST.CARS. Born with “the car bug”, he started his first business at the age of twelve. He then started his first dealership while he was still in college. His story is a fascinating one and his journey is anything but a straight line to the top.
