    പ്രണയവും,  പരിഭവവും,  ദുഖങ്ങളുമെല്ലാം പ്രതിഫലിക്കുന്ന ചെറിയ പാട്ടുകൾ.  കാതോരം മൂളാൻ,  പരസ്പരം പങ്കുവെയ്ക്കാൻ പാട്ടായ് മാറിയ  വർത്തമാനങ്ങൾ.

    പകൽ രാത്രിയോട് ചേരുന്ന സന്ധ്യാവേള..
    കുങ്കുമച്ചെപ്പ് തുറന്ന്   നിളയുടെ ഓളങ്ങൾക്ക് നിറം  ചാർത്തി, നൊമ്പരങ്ങൾ സന്ധ്യയോട് പങ്കുവെച്ച്  ശാന്തമായി  രാത്രിയിലേക്കലിയുന്ന സൂര്യൻ.
    ആ  സാന്ധ്യവേളയിൽ നിളാനദിക്കരയിലെ  കവയത്രിയുടെ മനസ്സാണ് ഈ കവിത....

    "നിളയുടെ വിരിമാറിൽ വശ്യമാം കുളിർമാറിൽ 
    ചായാനൊരുങ്ങുന്ന ചാരുസന്ധ്യേ...."
