In the midst of blackouts & brownouts, California announces they will ban the sale of non-electric vehicles by 2035. California has had wildly inefficient power grids and refuses to use carbon-based energy to subsidize their lack of power and inability to store energy. At the same time, the charging stations for EVs and lubricants for wind-powered mechanisms rely on carbon. Is this promise to eradicate non EVs just political grandstanding or based in the science?
