About this listen

In the midst of blackouts & brownouts, California announces they will ban the sale of non-electric vehicles by 2035. California has had wildly inefficient power grids and refuses to use carbon-based energy to subsidize their lack of power and inability to store energy. At the same time, the charging stations for EVs and lubricants for wind-powered mechanisms rely on carbon. Is this promise to eradicate non EVs just political grandstanding or based in the science? Will it significantly reduce carbon emissions? Will it negatively affect our quality of life--particularly for those in the lower & middle-class? Join us for a discussion over climate change and Democrats' proposals (in California and across the U.S.) to address it.
