He was an early student of Tibetan master Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and teaches Buddhist principles through his Dharma Moon platform. David mentors students  and leads meditation teacher trainings worldwide. As an author, Nichtern has authored many books including Awakening From the Daydream, a contemporary exploration of the Buddha's Wheel of Life. He also hosts a podcast based on his book Creativity, Spirituality & Making a Buck.
